In our FINAL episode for Season 1, Melissa unveils possibly our most incredible story yet! When 21-year-old Yossi Ghinsberg went into the Amazon Jungle, he expected to find the lost city of Gold. What actually happened was a trip-turned-nightmare, when a venture by raft proved almost deadly; sweeping him over a waterfall. Roads can get dangerous, and our story this week tells of a family who fell victim to just that: a dangerous route is taken from desperation. This week, Olivia tells the story of James and Jennifer Stolpa, and their infant son Clayton, who fought for survival for days after making a bad judgment call to take a closed mountain pass at Christmas time.
