Absorbing story detailing an unbelievable level of corruption in the UK police

It took a little while to get a grip on the large cast of characters, but the story which spreads from a single murder, out into the nexus of police & media corruption, is gripping. However, there's quite a bit of repetition at the start of each episode, which might be useful earlier in the piece, but a little annoying later on. Hence the 4 not 5
