A 23-year-old man named Affan is the accused in the brutal mass murder in Venjaramoodu, Thiruvananthapuram. Police say Affan murdered four members of his family and his girlfriend in a meticulously planned attack. Five murders in six hours. Between 10 am and 4:30 pm on February 24th, Affan took five lives, but the world only learned about it after 6 pm. Affan himself surrendered at the police station and confessed to the mass murder.
