All Of Teacher Haley Beck's 4k Grooming Texts, 'Sugar Baby + Prostitution' Deals & Sick Love Letter

High school relationships typically end with everyone moving away for college, which is why ‘love’ letters like these are written. This was addressed to *redacted*, the quarterback of the high school football team.   “..Even if we don’t talk all the time now or even @all when you’re in college, I feel like our little bond will always be there - so just hit me when you wanna go get wasted @ a bar together and I’ll send you my wedding invite one day…”   “…how you wouldn’t get out of my car for like 3 hours…or all the random times you “fell asleep” on my couch just waiting for me to invite you into my room (lol)…”   “...for this “relationship” being extremely wrong, I feel like we have really made the most out of it…I mean, you’ve been to my parent’s house…in their closet…insane.”   “Like bro, you’re the 1st person that got me to smoke weed…Even though you never say it back, I love you + wish you all the best…Love, HB.”   The letter never makes it to the quarterback. Instead, it’s found by the Peoria Police Department during a search warrant of the quarterback’s old high school teacher.   27 year old Haley Beck - or as her students call her - Ms. Beck, has just been caught grooming one of her students.         Full show notes available at RottenMangoPodcast.com Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. • The Kidnapping of J. Paul Getty III

The Kidnapping of J. Paul Getty III

Throughout the twentieth century, few names loomed as large in the business and financial worlds as John Paul Getty. Once the richest man in the world, Getty made his fortune in the oil industry and an avid art collector, with a massive collection that served as a basis for the Getty Museum, the wealthiest museum in the world.   Getty’s wealth and business acumen made him a household name well beyond his death in 1976; however, that same wealth and notoriety made him a target for con artists and other criminals. Among those who sought to extort the Getty family, no attempt was more incredible and sensational than the kidnapping of Getty’s favorite grandchild, J. Paul Getty III, by an Italian crime syndicate in 1973. At first, the scion of the Getty family refused to negotiate with kidnappers, arguing that, if he paid the money, they would only kidnap other members of this family. But Getty reconsidered his position just a few weeks later, when his grandson’s ear arrived in the mail, with the promise of other body parts, should he not comply with their demands. The Murder of Bessie Darling

On the morning of October 31, 1933, a gunman burst through the door of Bessie Darling’s home in Foxville, Maryland and shot the woman to death. Police quickly arrested George Schultz, Darling’s boyfriend and business partner, who’d unsuccessfully attempted suicide after shooting Bessie. George confessed to the murder, claiming his actions were motivated by jealousy and a fear that Bessie was seeing other men, and he was sentenced to eighteen years in prison. In many ways, the story of Bessie Darling’s murder is a straightforward and unfortunately common story of domestic violence. Yet beneath the basic facts of the case is another story of rural development and economic inequality at a time when many in the nation were facing serious economic struggles. These aspects of the story, mostly ignored by the press, shaped how Bessie was portrayed by the media and how people have told and retold her story since her death. Thank you to the incredible Dave White of Bring Me the Axe Podcast for research! References Associated Press. 1933. "Autopsy is held in Darling case." Baltimore Sun, November 1: 5. —. 1934. The Exorcism of Roland Doe

In the winter of 1973, director William Friedkin released his iconic horror classic The Exorcist, a film that has shocked and terrified audiences for more than fifty years. Based on William Peter Blatty’s novel of the same name, The Exorcist tells the story of a young girl who becomes possessed by a demonic entity, and the two Catholic priests who attempt to exorcise the demon. Even more terrifying than the content of the film, however, was the fact that The Exorcist was supposedly based on a true story. William Peter Blatty had always stated The Exorcist was based on a supposedly true story he’d heard while at Georgetown University. According to Blatty, a Maryland boy, known as “Roland Doe,” had become possessed by a demonic entity and, among other things, underwent a negative personality change and began exhibiting impossible abilities including an ability to speak Latin. It was only through the dedication of one Jesuit priest that the boy was eventually freed of his possession and went on to live a normal life. Since the release of both the novel and the film in the 1970s, a great deal more has been learned about “Roland Doe” and the supposedly true story that inspired The Exorcist, raising many questions about the veracity of the original claims. Who was “Roland Doe,” and was he truly possessed by a demon, or just the intense emotions of an adolescent boy?   Thank you to the Incredible Dave White of Bring Me the Axe Podcast for research and Writing support! In 2001, Charles Forshee was charged with murdering Dillon Ferrar, a two-year old child in his care. Dillon’s four-year-old brother, Lucas, was a key witness at trial, and testified that he saw Forshee put a pillow on Dillon’s face.
