    Kelly Chase and Brett Hull are back in the Window World Studio with former teammate and current St. Louis Blues head coach Jim Montgomery this week. Monty and Hully talk about the recruitment process to play college hockey and how NIL money has effected hockey. The guys relive one of the greatest pranks pulled on Monty while he was playing for the Blues and some of the other shenanigans they used to get up to in the locker room. Monty talks about playing with Paul Kariya at Maine before going pro and then discusses how he got into coaching at the college level. Hully and Monty talk about the special talent that Johnny Gaudreau had at a young age and the guys compare coaching at the college level and the NHL. Monty tells Hully the importance of scheduled days off, the Blues tough start to the season, and how the team is approaching the condensed training camp this year. Monty relives his time as a player/assistant coach for the Missouri River Otters during an NHL lockout year and some of the things that he learned that have shaped who he is as a coach. The guys talk about the upcoming season for the Blues and Monty tells the guys what he's excited about heading into training camp. John relives a few of the games from his time playing under Dan Reeves in Denver and what led to the coaching change to Wade Phillips and, eventually, Mike Shanahan. Hully talks about his memories watching the Broncos' playoff run to Super Bowl XXXII, and Elway discusses how they were able to grind out the win for that Super Bowl. Hully asks John what the mentality was in the organization beginning the next season as defending champs. John and Brett talk about winning at the end of your career and how difficult it really is. Hully asks Elway about his post-playing career and John shares the details of how he got into the car business during his playing days and what happened when he decided to sell his dealerships. John tells Hully about his transition to management, how he ended up back with the Broncos, and how he landed a coveted free agent QB.     Brett Hull is catching up with Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway this week at Gozzer Ranch. John talks to Hully about growing up all over the northwestern US following his dad to different coaching spots before finally settling in California for high school and Hully shares the story of how the Hull family ended up in Winnipeg. The guys talk about Elway's best moments playing high school baseball and what it was like being a two-sport athlete in high school and college. John explains the shock of going to his first season of minor league baseball and what ultimately led him to football. Elway talks about the ups and downs of his junior season and Hully asks John what it was like being a part of The Play. Elway goes into the details of getting drafted by Baltimore, but then getting traded to Denver.     Brett Hull is back at Gozzer Ranch with Discovery Land Company founder Michael Meldman for part 2 of their conversation. Mike tells Brett about leaving corporate real estate and getting into property development in Arizona. The guys talk about how that one property turned into the entire Discovery portfolio and Mike tells Hully about where the inspiration came from for some of the rules that make Discovery golf courses more laid back than normal courses.
