Enlightening
I’ve been listening to this podcast for a few days now. In one of the episodes, US Postal Service Stamps, Roman Mars said: making a difference with creativity. It just made me realize one thing that I have been putting on hold. This podcast made me see what I wanted to do creatively. Thank you.
Wow. I’m hooked.
I just discovered this recently and truth be told this the first time Imm lostening to podcasts. Absolute gem of a show.
99% Invisible, 100% amazing
The Radiotopia podcast that started it all. Host Roman Mars (best name and voice in podcasting, IMO) brings to light aspects of design, architecture, and activity that is mostly ignored or taken for granted by people. Each episode focuses on one particular topic, and includes interviews with experts. When this podcast first started out, it was only about five minutes long and just had Roman Mars hosting it. Now it’s about 30 minutes and chock-full of information. There’s a certain melodious quality to the narration, and the music accompanying it is so appropriate. I’ve witnessed the evolution of this podcast, and it makes me very happy.
Another thing I love about this podcast is that whenever they talk about something concerning women, or people of a certain race, or LGBT, they let the people of those genders/races/identities narrate it. It’s a little thing, but it means a lot.
Each episode is produced in beautiful downtown Oakland, California.
