Lightning also damage to our Building Structure, Small House or other Man made things.  तड़ित रोधक (lightning arrester या surge arrester) विद्युत शक्ति प्रणाली तथा दूरसंचार प्रणाली में प्रयुक्त एक सुरक्षा युक्ति है जो तड़ित से होने वाली इंसुलेशन की सम्भावित क्षति के विरुद्ध कार्य करती है। सामान्य तड़ित रोधक में एक उच्च-वोल्टता वाला टर्मिनल तथा दूसरा भू-टर्मिनल होता है। जब तड़ित किसी पॉवर लाइन से होकर चलते हुए तड़ित रोधक तक पहुंम्चती है तो तड़ित की धारा रोधक से होते हुए धरती में चली जाती है। So How to Protect our Building or Home As well us and our electronic Equipment from Lighting?. The Best way is to Have lightning protection system. A lightning protection system is designed to protect a structure from damage due to lightning strikes by intercepting such strikes and safely passing their extremely high currents to ground, Lightning current will divide to follow every conductive path to ground, and even the divided current can cause damage.     Earthing is the most important thing in electrical. without earthing or grounding we cannot  use neutral or earth in our house, we can also say that electrical will fail with out earthing or grounding.  electrical equipment helps protect from electric shock by keeping the exposed conductive surface of connected devices close to earth potential, when a failure of electrical insulation occurs. When a fault occurs, current flows from the power system to earth. that is known as earthing. and the wire which is connected from neural wire from transformer side to ground is known as grounding.  Just putting wire inside ground is not a Earthing, we need some devices like copper plate, rod etc for making earthing proper, for proper earthing we need to check resistance from ground in regular interval for that we need Earthing Chamber, earth housing ,which is also known as earth pit or ground pit. But there are many traditional Earth pit is to build by local labours, without any standards. which creates many issue for earthing to work properly. for railway or any big organisation required good earthing but if the earthing to earth pit is not proper it will be a high loss to human life. and also there are many Problems Due to traditional Earth pit.
