Angels Swept by Astros! Bullpen Meltdown & Logan O'Hoppe Traded?! | ToddFox Postgame

What a brutal day for Angels fans. The Astros completed the three-game sweep at Angel Stadium with a 7-4 victory, as another late bullpen collapse erased any hope of salvaging the series. ToddFox breaks down what the deal means for the future of the Angels, whether the front office is finally committing to a long-term plan, and how fans should react to saying goodbye to one of the club's most popular players. On this episode of the ToddFox Postgame Show, we discuss: Astros complete the sweep with a 7-4 win. Another bullpen meltdown costs the Angels. The offense continues to disappear in key moments. Logan O'Hoppe and Chase Silseth traded. What this means for the future of the franchise. Winners, losers, and what's next for the Halos. The frustration continues at Angel Stadium.

The Angels received another strong pitching performance that should have been enough to win, but once again poor execution, a quiet offense, and questionable in-game decisions turned a winnable game into another disappointing loss. The pitching staff did its job, but the lineup failed to provide enough support, and every mistake proved costly against a quality Astros club. On this episode of the ToddFox Postgame Show, Todd breaks down another night of uninspired baseball as the Angels struggle to capitalize on opportunities and continue searching for answers at the plate. Topics include: Another quality pitching performance wasted. The offense's inability to come through in key situations. Costly mistakes that shifted the momentum. Questionable managerial decisions that added to the frustration. What the Angels must change if they want to compete down the stretch. Has this become the identity of the 2026 Angels, or can they still turn things around? Let us know your thoughts in the comments! Should the Angels Trade Zack Neto? | Building for the Future & Giants Series Recap

This week on Halos in the Infield, ToddFox and Fernando "The Lone Star Halo" dive into one of the biggest questions facing the Angels organization: Is anyone truly untouchable? With the trade deadline approaching, the guys debate whether players like Zack Neto should be considered trade assets if it means accelerating the rebuild, or if the Angels should make him a cornerstone of the franchise moving forward. They also discuss whether General Manager John Mozeliak is finally prepared to commit to building a sustainable winner instead of chasing short-term fixes. The conversation also recaps the frustrating series in San Francisco, where the Angels dropped two of three to the Giants. Despite strong pitching performances at times and salvaging the finale, mental mistakes, inconsistent offense, and missed opportunities once again kept the Halos from winning the series. Topics include: Should Zack Neto be untouchable? Which Angels players could be traded? Can John Mozeliak finally build a sustainable winner? What direction should the organization take? Giants series recap and biggest takeaways Players who impressed—and those who need to step up Join the discussion in the comments and let us know what you would do if you were running the Angels. Angels Blow 4-0 Lead! Ureña Deserved Better as Astros Rally for 6-4 Win

Walbert Ureña turned in one of his best starts of the season, giving the Angels everything they could have asked for while helping build a 4-0 lead over the Astros. Unfortunately, once he left the game, everything unraveled. The offense went silent after the early innings, defensive miscues opened the door, and the bullpen couldn't protect the lead as Houston stormed back for a frustrating 6-4 victory. What looked like it could have been a statement win quickly turned into another disappointing collapse. On this episode of the ToddFox Postgame Show, Todd breaks down: Walbert Ureña's outstanding performance. How the Angels' offense disappeared after jumping ahead. The costly errors that shifted the momentum. The bullpen's inability to close out the game. What has to change if the Angels want to stop wasting quality starts. Did the Angels let another game slip away, or is this becoming a recurring problem? Join the conversation in the comments and let us know your thoughts. Angels Salvage One in San Francisco! Soriano Shines & Soler Delivers in 4-3 Victory

The Angels finally leave San Francisco with a win, defeating the Giants 4-3 to avoid the sweep. Despite another game filled with questionable in-game decisions, the Halos leaned on a strong outing from José Soriano and timely hitting from Jorge Soler to get the job done. Soriano gave the Angels exactly what they needed, attacking the strike zone and keeping the Giants' lineup in check deep into the game. At the plate, Soler came through with one of his biggest performances in an Angels uniform, providing the clutch offense needed to build a lead. The bullpen bent but didn't break, holding off a late Giants rally as the Angels escaped Oracle Park with a much-needed victory. While the win is certainly welcome, it also raises questions about the team's decision-making and execution throughout the series. Join ToddFox as he breaks down: José Soriano's outstanding start Jorge Soler's clutch offensive performance The key moments that secured the 4-3 victory The late-inning drama Why this team still has plenty to clean up despite getting the win Be sure to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell for all your Angels coverage on Halos in the Infield!
