A Short Letter of Gratitude to Stephen West
Last month, due to severe panic attacks brought about the Covid situation, I had to withdraw my enrollment from the University of the Philippines; the country’s most renowned university, and one of which I worked tirelessly over the past year to get transferred to having been unable to imagine a fulfilled life without graduating from it.
Listening to your podcast, particularly the episode on Emil Cioran helped me get a fresh perspective on this experience which many would call, a failure.
I have been following your podcast for about two years now repeating episodes on occasions when I feel like their ideas would be of great relevance to all that is happening around me. Listening to the profound ideas of these thinkers uniquely explained by your writing is truly an enriching experience. An experience I would not get if I had read their works by myself, or followed your podcast for that matter.
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge to the world. I hope you find it in yourself to continue making episodes for the podcast because you truly are enriching the lives of your listeners, as you have mine.
