  1. RHLSTP Book Club 177 - Harriet Tyce

RHLSTP Book Club 177 - Harriet Tyce

RHLSTP Book Club #177 - Witch Trial - Rich talks to best selling author and brilliant and terrifying Traitors contestant Harriet Tyce about her phenomenal fifth novel, Witch Trial. Obviously there’s a bit of Traitors chat as they discuss the decision to go in and whether it’s helped with book sales, but mainly we’re looking at the effect of taking an MA in creative writing and why it might help you write a best selling novel, Harriet’s decision not to put out her second novel (or her earlier work that I would really like to see), the inspiration for Witch Trial, the real spooky stuff in Edinburgh that you can see in the National Museum, writing from the male perspective, the incredible ending of this book which we can’t really discuss but that I doubt you’ll guess, creating an atmosphere with two short early chapters and when in the process she wrote these and the possibility of a sequel. Plus Harriet does a Lee and Herring reference, almost like she’s as excited to meet me as I am to meet her. 2. RAACN week 11

    11 APR

    RAACN week 11

Tuesday April 7th 2026 - King of the Farts - Rich and Ally are back on Rich’s 14th Wedding Anniversary to finally determine whether men or women have the worst smelling flatus. Yes, it’s as bad as it sounds. If you need to get up to speed on Baggy Pants and the Nitwits head here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmZj7m_u74g&t=3s Wednesday 8th April 2026 - Knicky-Knacky-Knocks - A clearly tired and emotional Richard Herring celebrates the end of the war and the great man who has brought about peace, whilst Ally tries to start an all-out superpower confrontation partly to put viewers of this show out of their misery. All this and an AI Jesus. What’s not to love? Thursday 9th April 2026 - Angels - Rich is back from the brink and ready to do a documentary on his breakdown. Today he and Ally discuss why people shouldn’t be allowed to look old and also shouldn’t be allowed to try not to look old. Minimal singing to appease the kind of people who think anything is worth saying on YouTube. And also to annoy the people who think anything is worth saying on Youtube if they like the singing. Friday 10th April 2026 - Melania - Rich and Ally discuss Melania’s recent Epstein based statement and try to work out if it’s possible to predict anything coming out of the White House. With a guest spot from someone who was also not a friend of Epstein and has no connection with him and doesn’t know who he is. Weird we got him on really. Hosted on Acast.
