Very good deep-dive into “What?”

This was a great interview of the boys. I love the deep dive into the creative process of the production of the whole song, choreography and music video. Kudos to the interviewers for asking very astute and interesting questions that helped showcase what the boys’ specific thoughts, feelings and roles were for this project. They are all indeed very professional, fun, and very humble guys, wise beyond their years.

I’m a new fan who just recently discovered them a couple of months ago and what really impressed me about them along with their talent is their humility and acknowledgment of each one’s strengths and contributions.

For example, you couldn’t really tell from this conversation when Stell was talking about the choreography and said that they asked helped from an outside choreographer that in reality, Stell was actually the one who built most of the choreography (Note: His role apart from main vocal is being the group’s choreographer even during their “Go Up” era) to which Ken and the other members contributed, as featured in the 2nd episode of the Making of “What” docu-series. Tank Bautista (the choreographer they hired) even acknowledged this as Stell’s masterpiece and thanked him publicly for allowing him to help with it. And yet here we have Stell always pointing out that everyone deserves the credit for the masterpiece that was produced which he built from scratch even with all the personal struggles he went through (as seen in the above mentioned episode of the docu-series). I’m just so impressed with that kind of attitude and maturity. It’s so rare and refreshing to encounter this sort of artist indeed.

I loved the post-interview analysis as well and appreciate the openness of the interviewers in exploring SB19’s music. Thank you again and I hope this won’t be the last time you’ll have SB19 on your show. More power to you!
