    The Huge Show - June 17th - Full Show

    Today we're broadcasting live from the Blythefield Country Club in Plainfield Township as we get set for the 12th year of the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. Throughout the show we were joined by some of the great folks connected to the Meijer LPGA to hear about what's new this year, what the meaning is behind the event, and more. We were also joined by some of our great guests to talk about the Tigers, PGA, LPGA, Michigan and Michigan State Athletics, Detroit Lions, and more. In our first hour, we were joined by former Major Leaguer John Vander Wal. He and Huge talked about the current strengths and weaknesses of this Tigers team, gave their thoughts on the future of Skubal with the team, and much more. We were then joined by another Baseball Insider, Greg Heeres so he and Huge could talk about the Tigers pitching. Greg also filled us in on how he can help you with succession planning. We were then joined by Cathy Cooper who is the Tournament Director for the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. She filled us in on the fun and exciting things you'll find at the Tournament, told us what's new this year, and more. In our second hour, we were joined by Tim Staudt from Staudt on Sports in Lansing. He and Huge talked about MSU losing their President and AD, gave their thoughts on what led to that, talked about the short and long term impact, gave their thoughts on how MSU can dig themselves out of this, and more. Chris Balas from theWolverine.com then joined us. He joined us to update us on Michigan Football and Coach Whittingham in the off-season, talked about Warde Manuel, and much more. We were then joined by Cara Lutz who is the Communications Manager for Meijer. She told us about what's bigger and better this year, talked about all of the great prices you'll find at the Tournament, and more. In our final hour, we were joined by former Michigan Basketball Head Coach John Beilein for another edition of our "Talking Hoops" segment presented by Doeren Mayhew.
