    Ep. 168 (RtoR # 43): The Parable of Heaven, Earth, Sun, Moon and Stars (with Issa Litton)

    Host and actress Issa Litton is a curious cat and not only does she want to know about the heaven, earth, sun, moon and stars that are used figuratively in the book of Revelation but she even asks about the sea that passes away in Rv 21:1 😸 This is perhaps the biggest reason why people equate the end time to a physical destruction of the planet but if we consider how the same language already appeared in an Old Testament book of prophecy (Is 65:17, for one) and read what happened in Gn 37:9-11, well, we think it's time we put away all the scary doomsday interpretations of Revelation.     Jerusalem and Babylon are two places that appear from the Old Testament all the way to the book of Revelation in the Bible. We understand that these are actual places where a lot of significant events took place in the past but what are they doing in a book of prophecy for the second coming, especially Babylon when it no longer exists as such? Many claim and fear that a physical war will be the beginning of the end but the Scriptures make it clear that we do not wage war as the world does (Eph 6, 2Cor 10) so it's all a little confusing but that's why we're here.
