I really love this insightful content, and there are a lot of good nuggets in each episode, so props for putting it together! My issue is that the host doesn’t speak with conviction. There are so many uhhhhs, ummmmms, and pauses in his speech, it’s distracting. I know it’s meant to be largely unscripted/conversational, and this is to some extent just how we all talk, so I try to give grace. But it doesn’t feel as authoritative as it could.
Great podcast!

I have learned a great deal from this podcast. Thank you Shane. I would love to hear episodes on grief and addiction.
Good content if you can give over the verbal pauses

Helpful information and content, but the interviewee (eg: Kim Ploussard) has so many verbal pauses, including “you know,” rhetorical “right,” and “hmmm/umm,” it’s hard to listen. It’s like she’s formulating the responses for the first time during this interview. I recommend that she listen to her own interview to improve her communication style.
