Another Louisville woman, Alexis Crook, says she was abused by Donnie too, and his twin brother Ronnie, when they were coaches at her private Christian school almost 20 years earlier.

I just finished season one. I was outraged for the victims and I was outraged by the pushback you received by police and prosecutors during this process. I found myself yelling in my car as I listened because it was so frustrating. To the brave women: you deserve better. So much better.

I found this podcast when it was briefly mentioned on an episode of Crime Junkie. I had no idea season 3 would be based in my current home city of Louisville, KY. Each episode of this season is more terrifying than the last and every second I listen I can’t comprehend why this isn’t local or national news. Begging people to listen to help hold people accountable and change how abuse is mitigated in the future.

Listening to season 1 after starting with season 3. Both are compelling and well reported and researched, I also appreciate the way they present the victims … just wanted to comment on how dismissive and hostile LMPD spokesperson Jesse Halliday was. It’s beyond frustrating . I commend the reporters for staying calm and clear and asking the hard questions.

Season 3 is so well-reported and the story-telling is very compelling. It is also very frustrating to know how adults close their eyes and their minds to the abuse and r*pe of children. I hope they all get what they deserve.
