Scratching the surface of the unending wisdom from 2000 years of Eastern Orthodox Christianity — one body, one faith, one baptism, and all that.
I grew up Lutheran. Ended up just being Christian. I’ve always been baffled by the sheer lunacy and chaos of American para churches. Somehow, the information war in politics and history extended ten fold to Christs Church! Learning Church history through Dyer and Fr Stephen, reading more and more, Whole Counsel of God/ Lord of spirits have lead me to orthodoxy, brought me closer to God, and has brought me peace and understanding like I have never experienced.
More to the point, understanding the history of the Church, the spread of Christianity, the ecumenical councils and synods, Romes heresy and its many errors since has unified my previously disjointed view of history. The sheer confusion one experiences when learning secularly told history and our present global political realities whilst simultaneously researching and learning about the ancient near east and western europes historical arch. One cannot makes sense of all he sees and hears and it leads young men to conspiracy theories —- whether true or false.
My horribly written point is that divorcing man from church history and all the intellectualism brought forth in the fathers is such a dark and devious thing to do to .
My western civ class went from Rome to De Carte.
Can you imagine?
The “dark ages,” such a lie.

Young men need Dyer making a fool of ppl with bad faith. He has brought countless to orthodoxy. Surely, whatever happened. It doesn’t matter in that case!
