Slumber Studios does NOT choose the ads you hear!!!!

This and other podcasts by Slumber Studios is so ultimately relaxing. I love the soothing background sounds. Thank you!!! Please allow me to educate the people complaining about the type of ads they are hearing while listening. The advertisements are not selected by the podcast producers. Apple Podcasts uses Dynamically inserted ads (DAI).
DAI explained- These ads can differ between listeners. The hosting platform stitches the ad into the audio (or video) file at the moment your app requests the episode. How dynamic ads are selected for you- When the Apple Podcasts app requests an episode, the ad server typically receives limited signals: • Your IP address (used for approximate location, often city or region level) • Device / user agent (iPhone, iOS, etc.) • The show and episode ID • The time of the request The ad server (run by the podcast’s host or ad network, not Apple) then picks an eligible ad based on: • Geographic targeting • Device or platform targeting • Show/episode category or content context • Active campaigns, dates, budgets, and any auction or pricing rules • Sometimes probabilistic demographic inferences (age range, income, interests) created by matching the IP against third-party household data. This is why you and a friend can hear different ads in the same episode, and why an older episode can suddenly contain ads for newer products Also a simple fix would be to subscribe to podcasts and eliminate ads all together!
1 flaw. Not their fault.

Apple Podcasts absolutely skewered this one. The required ads are actually the worst. The podcast itself is a 10. I just don’t get the ads and their points. And jimmy, that was creative. Kudos to you.
