CONSIDER ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 155, STREETS, ROADS AND BRIDGES, GENERAL ORDINANCES, MARTIN COUNTY CODE, RELATING TO SPEED LIMITS, DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY, REQUIRED PERMITS, AND SECURITY - This is a request for approval of amendments to Chapter 155, Streets, Roads and Bridges, General Ordinances, Martin County Code to rely on the Florida Statutes as they relate to establishing speed limits, to authorize the County Engineer to apply for state and federal permits for County projects - The Board adopted the Ordinance amending Chapter 155, Streets, Roads and Bridges, General Ordinances, Martin County Code. PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE MARTIN COUNTY ZONING ATLAS TO CHANGE THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FOR BREW HORIZONS LLC (D069-002) - The Board received and filed the agenda item and all attachments as an exhibit and adopted a Resolution amending the Martin County Zoning Atlas to change the zoning district designation on the site from M-1, Industrial District, to LI, Limited Industrial District. The Board approved and recommended that the applicant work with the neighbors regarding access into the businesses. FISCAL IMPACT PRESENTATION OF THE PROPOSED HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION INCREASE ON MARTIN COUNTY FIRE RESCUE ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE ACQUISITION OF A 2.70-ACRE PARCEL NORTH OF SW BLUE WATER WAY, AS RECOMMENDED BY THE ENVIRONMENTAL LANDS OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE AND APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS - Board adopted a Resolution approving and accepting the purchase of vacant land totaling 2.70 acres; authorized the Chair to execute the Vacant Land Contract ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ACQUISITION OF TEN PARCELS OF ENVIRONMENTALLY SENSITIVE LAND LOCATED IN POINCIANA GARDENS, AS RECOMMENDED BY THE ENVIRONMENTAL LANDS OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE AND APPROVED BY THE BOARD - The Board approved the Vacant Land Purchase and Sale Contract; authorized the Chair to execute; adopted a Resolution approving and accepting the purchase of ten parcels consisting of a total of 2.717 acres in Poinciana Gardens Senior Games Registration: Registration for the 2026 Senior Games is now open!
