    5. Tell us what the 6 P’s are and why they are so important?
Hint: The “ST 6 P’s” is the best evaluation method every business owner should live by and establish within their company. It is based off 6 principles.

Creating a Culture of Consistency in Your Firm

Creating a Culture of Consistency in Your Firm

Without a doubt, one of the hallmarks of successful people in business is their ability to be consistent, both at work and in their personal lives. Creating a steady cadence in life allows us to be less stressed, more productive, and to experience a high level of contentment and success year in and year out. While cultivating consistency isn’t easy, it is an incredible skill that is vital to reaching your full potential.

But what does it mean to be consistent? Is it merely delivering the same quality of service day in and day out? Is it the ability to present a true version of yourself while at work and also while at home? Is it gritty, focused discipline that doesn’t turn back from goals once they have been set? In all honesty, consistency is all of those things and so much more.

Your trustworthiness, your business reputation, your relationships – they all hinge on consistency. A life lived with dependability will be marked with success and accolades. A life that is poorly managed and does not adhere to a code of structure and consistency will quickly devolve into stress and disorganization, both of which are detrimental to the success and strength of a company.

Consistency allows you to accept and provide accountability

A healthy workplace is one that has a solid culture of accountability and collaboration. As people, we work the best when we feel safe, heard, valued, and challenged. If standards of success and expectations are kept consistent, it is easy to know if you are living up to the expectation set before you or not. Otherwise, it can be confusing and frustrating trying to discern whether or not you are doing a good job.

Eric Holtzclaw, a contributor for Inc. and a well-known entrepreneur, says: “I ask my employees to be accountable for their deliverables and goals. They should expect the same in return from my leadership. I put a priority on making time for and being available to my team. I work to establish consistent and recurring meetings when a project or aspect of the business requires attention. The simple fact that there is a set time to report on progress is often the catalyst that moves an initiative along to a successful end.”

When your team knows they can depend on you to provide dependable, measured feedback and guidelines for them, they can easily settle into a routine and embrace their workflow with focus and intensity. Likewise, when you are in a disciplined routine you are more likely to allow people to speak into your life as accountability partners and to work unwaveringly toward your own success goals.

Consistency gives you a structured way to review progress

In order to measure your success and evaluate if your business trajectory is taking you where you want to go, you need to have consistent results and a documented history to review. You can’t appropriately evaluate business initiatives, client relationships, product launches, or income goals if you have not consistently been tracking progress or providing evaluation points along the way.

Consistency helps you honestly look at things based on data, and not on your feeling of how things are going. Feelings can often lie to us, painting things with rose-colored glasses, whereas detailed business metrics and consistent review helps keep us laser-focused on the true picture of how things are going.

Consistency reflects integrity and cements your character

On both a personal and business level, your ability to be consistent speaks volumes about your personal integrity and the strength of your character. The ability to say what you mean, to follow through with promises, and to work honestly and transparently will attract clients that respect the work you do and that trust you to work with their best interest in mind.

If the people you serve can have that kind of unwavering faith in you and your company and in your ability

7 Ways to Keep Up in Today’s Fast-Paced Business World

7 Ways to Keep Up in Today’s Fast-Paced Business World

Returned a called to your grieving widow client. Check. Made flight arrangement’s for next month’s conference. Check. Reviewed your client’s recommendations for your meeting with them tomorrow. Check. Running late for a meeting and still have 20 items on the to-do list for the day. The business world moves fast, sometimes, too fast. It can become overwhelming, and you may feel that you are falling behind. Let’s explore seven ways to help you keep up with an ever-changing business environment.

    1. Work Smart
You’ve heard the phrase, ‘work smart’, but what does that really mean? In a fast-paced business world, staying on top of the work is the best way to manage it. Maximize your time during your commute by returning calls in the car or emails if you take mass transportation. Check emails twice a day, and not first thing in the morning. Schedule work and meetings in time blocks if possible, to maximize. Goals and dreams are what make a business work. Sometimes, aspirations have to be pared down to what can actually be accomplished. Prioritize what can be done within reason.

    2. Make a Plan
Formulating a plan will help you prepare for the challenges of the day. Start your day by prioritizing what needs to be done that day and review the entire week while you are at it. Write down your tasks for the day and check them off as you complete them. It is gratifying to cross something off your list, and it makes you more efficient and productive. It also brings order to your day, which helps you to remain calm, especially in a chaotic environment.

    3. Be Consistent
Remaining consistent in your work is one important key to success. Try to avoid ups and downs in your work production, so you don’t feel that you are overwhelmed. Morten Hansen, professor of entrepreneurship at INSEAD, states: “You would expect that in a world that is changing constantly around you that what you ought to do is to morph into the next thing and the next thing and so on, but what we found in our research is that winners in the industries that we studied followed a path of consistent pacing. And in the long run, that is what paid off, even in chaotic industries.”

    4. Communicate Well
In a fast-paced business environment, there is always a lot of work to be done, but you just can’t do it all. Don’t be afraid to wave the white flag once in a while. When you get really bogged down with work, communicate with your team. If someone else can handle something that you are just not doing at all, it’s better than it not getting done at all. And, in many cases, I’m guessing, you need to let the small details go and let someone else do it the way they see fit.

    5. Use Social Media to Help
Social media is a one-stop shop to find out the comings and goings in your field. Platforms such as Facebook, Linked In, and Twitter should be used to keep updated on the industry trends to keep competitive and stay ahead of the rest. You can also receive daily updates from industry leaders, and you can follow what your current and potential clients are doing, if this can help you get additional business.

    6. Embrace Technology
Almost every industry has experienced rapid change over the last few years. The best way to evolve in an evolving business world is to stay updated with technology. Innovation is critical to launching products/services and expanding business. Invest in technology that will benefit not only your business as a whole and align with your objectives, but in those that make your job easier. This will also keep your skills current and your team’s skills current.

    7. Take a Break
Time spent rejuvenating is imperative to keep up with a fast pace. Run, watch a movie, read a book, take a yoga class, do some stretching---do something that relaxes you and that has nothing to do with work. When you give your m

How To Manifest Desires In Order To Get Things Done

How To Manifest Desires In Order To Get Things Done

Manifesting what we want in business and in life isn’t difficult. Manifesting also requires you to put in the effort to get what you desire. It’s not enough to announce to the Universe, “I’d like to achieve XYZ.” You need to put in the effort to help that dream become a reality.

How can you manifest your desires as a way of getting things done? Here are a few steps you can take:

    • Set your intentions. You need to be abundantly clear on the goal you want to achieve. You can’t just say, “I want to be rich.” You need to say, “I want to earn $600,000 in my business by year end.” This is a clear intention and one to which you can put measures in place to help you move toward milestones.

    • Open yourself up. You need to move past your past. Don’t focus on what you may have tried to manifest in the past and were unable to. Look toward the future. You can’t change the past, but you can write your future. Believe you can achieve your goal(s), open your heart and mind, and let in the limitless possibilities.

    • Raise your vibration. Your vibration is literally your personal energy. We are surrounded by energies every moment of our daily lives. When you want to manifest a desire to get things done you want to focus on the energies surrounding you and your own energies, and wrap them around what you want to manifest. How can you raise your vibration? Do something you love – sing, dance, read or write, cook, spend time with those who fill your soul with love and light. Amping up your vibration opens you up to the energies of the Universe.

    • Trust and let go. If you don’t trust in a higher power or in your energies and vibration, your desire to manifest will be blocked. Trust that whatever happens is happening for a reason. The Universe will be on the lookout for your best interests and will support and protect you. What you need to do is get out of your own way and allow the intentions you’re manifesting to come to you. If you second guess and question, your vibrations will block your intentions.

Now that you know how to work on manifesting your desires to get things done you may need to, or want to, try these five steps to help with your manifestation.

    1. Where are you in your life right now? What have you done to get to your current station or situation? The desires you’re manifesting come from who you are as a person and where you’ve been. Manifesting on the future requires you to reflect on your past.

    2. Visualize where you want to be. After you’ve reflected on your life, visualize where you want to be once your manifestation has been achieved. What can you do differently to help you achieve that future vision that you have? What will be different/better in your life when you’ve achieved this goal? Write all of this down. This will help you better focus and not be vague on where you ultimately want to be in business and in life.

    3. Write your goals down. Don’t think about what you want to manifest, where you’ve been and where you want to be, and not commit those thoughts to paper. When you commit something to paper (or virtual paper) you are clearly defining to the Universe your focus and desires. Writing down your goals makes them concrete and helps them feel achievable. Even if your goals seem unattainable, write them down anyway. Don’t second guess your desires or your wishes. Your dreams are your own and are valid.

    4. What talents and skills and passions do you currently have that will help you achieve your dreams? Don’t negate a future desire simply because you don’t currently have the skillset to attain it. If you are moving out of your comfort zone and exploring different aspects of a life or career, you can gain the skillset you need. Gaining those skills is something you need to write down as one of your goals in manifesting the dream of getting somethin

4 Ways to Lean into Your Fears and Increase Your Success

4 Ways to Lean into Your Fears and Increase Your Success

At first glance, you may feel you have nothing to fear. You may be in a highly successful business, or you may be weathering a storm that is tough but under control. The truth is, though, we all fear something, and fear in any form is what holds us back from reaching new heights. If you want to do more, be more, have more, and achieve more than you are currently, then it is time to assess what is holding you back and find ways to lean into that fear, so it dissolves into success.

Some of the most intense professions around the world – especially positions held by first responders – set an incredible example for what it looks like to face fears and run headlong toward a problem. Think about a police officer; when they hear gun shots, they run toward the sound looking to engage with the source. Consider firefighters also; they run toward the fire to put it out as quickly as possible. The same is true of snow ski experts; to be a great skier, you have to lean forward, which is incredibly counter-intuitive. Likewise, motorcyclists lean into each turn to maximize their centrifugal force, not the other way around.

Erik Weihenmayer is an incredible example of what it looks like to live uninhibited by fear. As a blind man, many people encouraged him to play it safe in life; to be content with his limitations. But Erik decided that life was too short to live in fear, and so he set out on what has turned into a decades-long search for adventure and meaning. He has climbed Mt. Everest, summited countless other peaks, and spoken to businesses, sports teams, and even schools on the value of struggle and setting stretch goals – audacious, scary goals that stretch you into achieving more than you ever thought possible. In a blog post he wrote,

“Ama Dablam (a peak he summited) is no more special than any other mountain or goal. The simple fact is that completing this climb added meaning to my life; the same way that completing a triathlon, raising money for a local nonprofit, or losing weight might for someone else. I set a goal and worked to accomplish it – the mountain is a vehicle for building value in my life. What matters when choosing a goal is to first find the deeper vision that gives that goal purpose, and then allow ourselves the time and energy to pursue it.”

So, what can you learn from this? Your business success depends on your ability to navigate fears and obstacles in your path. Toss limiting beliefs that may be holding you back to the curb, and intentionally lean into your goals, so that you are 100% committed to having your best year ever – whatever that looks like for you. Stretch goals should inspire you. Stretch goals should get you laser-focused on only those activities that will help you achieve your goals. By being intentional, you will maximize your valuable time and accomplish more in the process. Consider leaning into your business-related fears by tackling one or more of the 4 ideas I’m going to share, so you can increase your business success and enjoy your ideal business and ideal life.

    1. Ask for Referrals
Instead of just meekly asking for referrals from your clients and hoping to get one or two, ask with boldness and intention, expecting to hit the mother lode each and every time. You do an excellent job for your clients and they should be eager to tell everyone about you and your products and/or services. If they aren’t, what can you do even better, different, or not do for them?

To download my complimentary referral tracking spreadsheet to help you increase your revenue, so you can accelerate your results, go to https://www.accountabilitycoach.com/referral-tracking-workbook.

    2. Be on a Mission
Lean into your fears by identifying areas of strengths and weakness, and then creating a goal-based roadmap for how you want to enrich those areas. Create an action-based mission statement t
