Ukraine and Europe: Hard Lessons, Real Hope

Everyone was shocked by the full scale war in Ukraine, but for some it was no surprise. For this episode we invited MEPs Markéta Gregorová and Mārtiņš Staķis to talk about their special relationship with Ukraine and its people. Who wants to be a billionaire? Wealth inequality in Europe

Join Marie and Rasmus for an unfiltered conversation about wealth and financial inequality in Europe. How do billionaires get away with paying almost no tax, while workers are struggling to get by? Why do we accept so much injustice? And what do we do about it? Don’t know your monetary policy from your macroeconomics? Don’t panic. We’ve imposed a jargon tax to keep the conversation understandable. Marie and Rasmus debunk the tax myths they hear every day - and talk about their solutions to make society fairer for all. "If we don't solve inequality, we won't solve other issues."
