Not Having Racism In Your Campaign, Settings, Or Table - PAX Unplugged 2018

Tabletop is growing and expanding, and with it there’s an increased need for diversity at the table. Let’s talk frankly about why racism at the table shouldn’t be a thing you do as a GM or player. Also, let’s get real about racism in our settings and campaigns, talk about what we can do to stamp it out as much as possible in a land where elves, orcs, and dragons roam but racism seems to be a neverending boss battle. Moderator: Tanya DePass ~ @cypheroftyr Panelists: Omari Akil ~ @OmariAkil Adam Koebel ~ @skinnyghost Nadja Otikor ~ @Trist_Chi Carlos Luna ~ @CarlosCrits Surena Marie ~ @SurenaXMarie APoisal ~ @APoisal This is a public episode. It's so hard to say good bye

This is it y'all, the final episode of Fresh Out of Tokens. It's been two years, 95 episodes, numerous amazing guests but it's time to say farewell. We've had a great run over the last two years, and it's been amazing for a show that started out as a happy accident to run for so long, to have so many amazing folks grace the mic . Thank you to every single guest, guest host and fan of the show. Thank you to everyone who's said a kind word about the show after the announcement came out about Tokens ending. The show might be ending, but the episodes will remain on Simplecast, archived. We'll leave Fresh Out of Tokens merch up in the I Need Diverse Games spreadshirt shop, and the twitter will be here even if it serves as more of an archive. Thank you to everyone who listened, who took a chance on a fledgling show to come on and be a guest, or promoted the show, or talked us up on twitter, Facebook or anywhere else. Special thanks to Shareef Jackson for rocking out with a Tokens mug early on. Don't be strangers, keep up with our outgoing EIC on twitter, tumblr, facebook, and her site; if you got a little coin to spare; Tanya is on Patreon to keep doing I Need Diverse Games as a full time gig. Also! Check out these other shows that are doing amazing work and having some great conversations. Part II will air later in May. Questions for Zoe Jarryd Huntley: What's your favorite metal band(if applicable😉)? Jk, but what's your favorite band(s)? Jamie Jeans: Sorry if this is so simple but... how are you? Are you doing okay? What was behind the decision to go old school for the live action video game design of the Chuck Tingle Digital Adventure game? I hadn't seen that in a LONG long time. TimpoAdante: You have done a lot of incredible things, and you constantly advocate for others even in those moments when most people would just be seeking to shore up support for themselves. What is something you've done (that you can actually talk about) that you are proudest of, whether a lot of folks already know about it or not? Out of all the folks you've worked with, who do you still hope you'll get the opportunity to work with, and what kind of thing would you like to make or do with them? What was the most surprising thing you were able to notice or do after getting your magnetic implant? Is this implant the harbinger of the cybernetic revolution?
