Tucker does a great job of exploring the game and opening it up to different builds. I like hat he may not try to optimize the ships for competitive play, but also tries to examine unusual combinations. Highly recommend.
Excellent!

Great podcast. I look forward to it every week. It's quick, concise and easy to follow. Gives good ideas on ships and builds to run.

This podcast takes the weird stuff in Star Trek Attack Wing and finds a better use for them. Is the show perfect? No. I think it could use a bit more editing, a little bit less rambling at parts, but still, the content is solid, the opinions are in a positive direction, and that’s what you’re looking for.

Tucker says he plans to take one ship, maybe a ship that hasn't seen play in a while (or maybe ever) and try to come up with a good build with that ship to achieve a valuable aim. I like this idea because there are a lot of ships that I'd like to see on the board again instead of the more obvious ones.
His first podcast is the Dominion Battleship, a ship with a great gun but with some pretty bad downsides including maneuverability and firing arcs. Why STAW does this to battleships when historically battleships had GREAT firing arcs is somewhat perplexing, but the resulting build seems like a good one to try on the board. Not only does the build address the ship's failings, but it should be a pretty easy ship to play. Good work and keep it up.
