The SciFi Podcast

Fantastic show. Found these guys through the Horror Movie Podcast (also great!). I've listened to handful of episodes and am pumped to keep going through the archives and listen to the others.

Listening to the Predator cast and I get to hear a bit of racism and homophobia right at the outset. Thanks for letting me know were you stand. I didn't realize this was a Sad Puppies SciFi Podcast at first. You know, I think astrology is a sham too, but I am not going to use and disparage a whole group of people born with a particular sexuality that has nothing to do with a fake science system to insult that fake science. That is your idea of witty word play? And then you spring your super original Asian stereotype voice on me? How daring and edgy. I've heard garbage like that since I was a kid done by people who also thought they were so very funny. I love science fiction and was looking forward to hearing from like minded people on the subject, but there is already enough ugliness in the world and I'm not going to subject myself to more of the same in my entertainment. That was my first and last listen from you guys.

Extremely entertaining! I found this trio to be really funny, but even more really smart. The connections that they make with Star Wars and real life had me looking at the world around me a bit different and the world of Sci-Fi films completely different. Hearing their passion is infectious! You will love this podcast!

I was introduced to this podcast by way of Jason and the gang over The Horror Movie Podcast where I am a frequent listener rather than a participant on their boards (which, I admit, is rather foolish of me). I have heard other science fiction podcasts and for some reason, they just never clicked with me. The SciFi Podcast, however, is a whole different ballgame altogether. The hosts all mesh well with one another and their discussions are very similar to how my friends and I talk about scifi and films in general so there is that connection that i can wholeheartedly relate to. If there is one “gripe” with regards to the podcast, it’s that I only wish they were longer. Sure, they are already a good length but at each episode’s conclusion i am left wanting more! But, what with Station and Mattroid having child(ren), i can completely understand the lack of having any time/little time to do any more than what they already provide us with. To all involved, Solo and Spacewolf included and their sometimes special guest Brain and even Jason of the horror podcast (whose scifi name escapes me at the moment) keep up the great work! I will continue to listen and I will certainly try and frequent the boards and post there as well.
