    Roll up, roll up and welcome to The Chris Moyles Show Guestival! With Dominic Byrne off on holiday this week, we threw open the studio doors and invited a spectacular selection of guests to slide gracefully, or not so gracefully, into the famous Dom hot seat. From Monday through to Friday, this podcast is packed with big laughs, great stories and some very special visitors. We kicked things off on Monday with the hilariously charming Seann Walsh. Neeeeom beep beep! Tuesday, it was all systems go with a blockbuster F1 line-up. Rising racing star Arvid Lindblad joined us ahead of his Silverstone weekend, and we were also treated to a visit from McLaren CEO Zak Brown, who gave us the inside track on all the action still to come. Wednesday took a turn down the HA! HA! HA! Highway, with the wonderfully funny Maisie Adams along for the ride. Clinton Baptiste, clairvoyant, mystic, and all-round teller of things that may or may not happen, joined us to share his predictions ahead of England’s big game. Thursday turned things up another notch as the one and only Ross Noble joined us, bringing his gloriously bonkers brain, brilliantly bizarre stories and exactly the sort of unpredictable energy you’d hope for. As if that wasn’t enough, indie legends Shed Seven were also in the house with a fabulous live session! Then on Friday, we wrapped up Guestival in suitably magnificent style with Al Murray. The Pub Landlord himself rolled in with plenty to say, plenty of opinions, and absolutely no danger of keeping things sensible. A huge way to round off a massive week of guests, gags and very questionable behaviour. Thank you for listening xx

    Dave Grohl, Harry Shearer, Linda Perry and Alex James #552

    Here ye, here ye! A brand new episode of The Chris Moyles Show podcast has landed. This week, we had a bounty of brilliant guests join us on the show, plus plenty of chat with bona fide rock ’n’ roll royalty on Radio X. And I say hey-ey-ey, hey-ey-ey... I said hey, a-what’s going on? We welcomed none other than Linda Perry! Yes, one of the 4 Non Blondes themselves to the show. Spinal Tap icon Harry Shearer also joined the show, bringing with him a touch of rock mockumentary greatness. And Alex James from Blur stopped by for a chat as well. These days, when he’s not being a Britpop legend, he’s making cheese and putting on his brilliant food and music festival, Feastival because apparently being cool in one industry simply isn’t cool enough. Plus, it’s times like these, time and time again, and this time we’ve got Chris catching up with Dave Grohl ahead of his humungous shows at Anfield in Liverpool.     Well, well, well would you look at that? Another week, another 7 days around the sun, and another 17.5 hours of The Chris Moyles Show. If you didn’t manage to catch all 1,050 minutes of the madness, don’t worry, we’ve wrapped up all the best bits into a 4260 second podcast for you. Chris was away this week, so we drafted in the next best Tarrant in radio to hold the fort, and of course, we had a big surprise lined up for him too. This week, you're in luck as Chris Moyles and Adam Brown (he's a bear) both take the reins for another packed-out week full of chaos and plenty of nonsense. Our great mate and colleague, Adam Brown, covered the show for Thursday and Friday, so in the podcast, it will seamlessly go from Chris Moyles broadcasting to the nation, to Adam Brown…. and I bet you won’t even notice the difference….     Hold onto your hats, because it’s time for another episode of The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X podcast and this week we’ve got a full house of sporting icons, rock stars and top-tier chat for you.     Knock, knock… who’s there? It’s another episode of The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X podcast, and it’s all things excellent and fantastic and brilliant and other superlatives! We have something brand spanking new for you, The Chris Moyles Sixty Second Soaps! This involved a table read of a script that was written, narrated and directed by our very own Captain Crapbeard! Now, was it just a prank on Dom to get him to say whatever we wanted? You be the judge! We also have the usual offering of great interviews. A smorgasbord of celebrities, if you will… Boy George, you come and go, you come and go! He told us that Culture Club are back! They take on some UK arenas later this year, and he confesses that he wants to write the United Kingdom’s song for Eurovision someday!     Catherine Tate, Nik Kershaw and Saffron from Republica #547

    Whoa there… steady on now! You seem like you’re just about ready to take on this episode of The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X podcast! There’s a lot in this episode, folks! But when isn’t there, am I right? The team recorded the Pubcast – you know, that charity podcast from a pub they do – so they felt a little ‘crispy’ (Dom’s favourite word for hungover) afterwards on Wednesday’s show. We also get excited about all that soccer in the summer, so our producer Polly has been working on a sweepstake for the team, and I’ll say it now in case you don’t clock on it, she’s not the biggest football fan in the world! We also have a host of wonderful guests to entertain those little ears of yours… Am I bovvered? Do I look bovvered? You bet I am bovvered, as the team caught up with comedy royalty, Catherine Tate. She’s in a show on the West End called Oh, Mary! She also has her legendary character Nan, and as Captain and Catherine haven’t met before, did Nan and him meet? (If you know, you know!) Chris met one of his pop music heroes, a massive 80’s icon… it’s only Nik Kershaw! Chris loves his music, and has been on the radio over thirty years and somehow has never interviewed Nik, so Chris was particularly giddy that morning, which you, undoubtably, will pick up on! Baby, she was ready to go… on The Chris Moyles Show! Saffron from Republica stopped by the Radio X studio to catch up with the team about more Republica shows, and the thirty-year anniversary of their massive hit “Ready To Go!” It felt weird having the next person as an actual guest… especially as he does the show after Chris, so they see each other every day. However, Toby Tarrant had an announcement to make, so he was our next “guest” oddly. (Funny how he didn’t get his name in the title of this week’s episode, right?) And you’re telling me that isn’t enough for you? Fine then, have some more: Dom’s shop on the A1 Toby Lerone returns? Pop Rap, or Pap?

    Bob Odenkirk, Graham Coxon and Rhys James #546

    Giddy up cowboys, here comes another edition of The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X podcast! Yeehaw! The team were all back together and it’s been a fun old week, and now you have a fun-filled podcast to try and make sense of! We have some of returning favourites, like your “I was today years old when I learned…” submissions to The Stupid Amnesty, a Who Are You guest keeping Chris and Dom on their toes as they guess who someone is without any clues, and we hear a round of Drums Please which one of those fun music guessing games that Chris will probably end up winning! Plus, we have a host of brilliant guests for you… Chris was, and didn’t hide it at all, incredibly giddy to chat to the brilliant actor, Bob Odenkirk. We all love him for Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and those couple great episodes of The US Office, and now his newest movie Normal! All the people, so many people will love hearing our interview with Graham Cox from Blur! He was back chatting with Chris being titled a “reluctant rockstar” and telling us about his new album Castle Park, which he recorded in 2012 and we’re all thankful that it will see the light of day in 2026! We made a few jokes that Rhys James only just made time to come and see us, as he’s on so many panel shows all the time, but we were delighted to see him and hear about his new stand up tour Chop Logic!
