The Principle Thing - Kris Chayer | Downtown Christian Church

This Sunday, Kris Chayer shares a message titled The Principle Thing. The Bible tells us to pursue wisdom, but true Godly wisdom is about far more than simply gaining knowledge or becoming smarter. Godly wisdom comes from the Spirit, giving us spiritual understanding and opening our eyes to see beyond what is happening on the surface. It allows us to recognize what God is doing, understand the spiritual realities at work around us, and see our lives from His perspective. There is so much God wants us to see, are we asking Him for the wisdom to see it? Join us for a powerful, eye-opening message as we learn to actively pursue wisdom, seek God for revelation, and trust that He gives wisdom generously to those who ask. “Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.” - Proverbs 4:7 NKJV LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE! Speaker: Kris Chayer Message Date: 9.6.2026 —— Empowering a movement of passionate Jesus-followers... Faith In Grace - Kris Chayer | Downtown Christian Church

This Sunday, Kris Chayer shares his message titled Faith In Grace. So often, we feel as though we lack the faith we need, but in Christ, we have already been given all the faith we will ever need. Our part isn't to try to create more faith on our own, our part is to trust in His grace! It’s about learning that His grace is not something that we earn by our works, but something that has been freely given to us through Jesus. Join us for an encouraging message that will give you a fresh perspective on faith, grace, and the freedom that comes from trusting in what Christ has already provided! “But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.” - Ephesians 4:7 LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE! 3 Dimensional Discipleship - Kevan Grinwis | Downtown Christian Church

By design, you are a gift to the world around you. You carry unique things that set you apart. And you are your most human self when you live true to your whole self as God made you—fully engaged with Him, yourself, and the world around you. This means showing up every day with your whole person, sitting with Him, asking Him to show you the conflict within you and then allowing Him to lead you in His thoughts, His ways, and His will. From there it means applying those things, that LOVE, upwardly, inwardly, and outwardly every day, sharing the good news that Jesus is the enthroned King of the universe, the conqueror of sin, sickness, and death, and that He is calling all people into His family—to experience new life in Him and with Him, truly human, right now, and throughout eternity. "Penetrate my inner man, Abba, and know my soul intimately. Test me like gold in the fire and know my divided thoughts—all my hidden anxiety and mental turbulence—every bit, holding nothing back. Illuminate my inner man and show me my idolatry and self-sabotage. Lead me in the way of eternal life that I would truly walk with you as my most human self.” - Psalm 139.23-24 RRV LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE! Watch Your Words - Lisa Chayer | Downtown Christian Church

This Sunday, Lisa Chayer shares a message titled Watch Your Words. Today, many Christians have been taken captive by their own words, we have used our tongue to form the very words that defeat us. But it’s God‘s desire that we use the creative power of our words that produce faith that will move mountains. When God‘s word is written in your heart and spoken out of your own mouth, it becomes a spiritual force, releasing the ability of God from within you. Join us for an encouraging and thought-provoking message as we discover how the words we speak can influence our lives and reflect the power of God at work within us. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith, even a small as a mustard seed, you could SAY to this mountain, move from here to there, and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.” - Matthew 17:20 LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE! Speaker: Lisa Chayer Message Date: 8.2.2026 —— Empowering a movement of passionate Jesus-followers...
