Oddcast: Movies, Music & Gaming

Movies, music and gaming from the stranger edges of popular culture. Childhood friends Sam LeGassick and Dan Gallagher have spent more than 30 years sharing an appreciation for things that sit just outside the mainstream — cult movies, strange games, overlooked records, brilliant failures and the occasional inexplicable oddity. Each episode of Oddcast takes on something different. Sometimes it's a film we love. Sometimes it's an album, artist or game. Sometimes it's something so bizarre we just need to work out what the hell happened. You don't need to know the subject beforehand. We'll fill you in, dig into its history and then inevitably pull it apart. The good. The bad. The intentionally ugly. Welcome to Oddcast. — ARCHIVE NOTE: This feed originally began as the horror audio drama A New Winter, before evolving into A New Winter: Cults & Culture and eventually Oddcast. The original A New Winter episodes remain here as part of the show's archive. A New Winter is also available separately as A New Winter: Limited Series.
