    Episode 61: 360s | The Business Case - A Client's Perspective with Frank Christie

This episode launches 360, Unpacked, a new Radio Omnicor series that pulls apart every phase of running a 360 in organisations — from why organisations run one at all, through to what to do with the feedback once it lands. We're opening the series with the client's side of the story, Frank Christie, a strategic leadership and organisational development consultant with 30 years' experience working with people and organisations across South Africa.  Frank recently guided an executive team through a 360 process. In this conversation he talks candidly about what motivated the decision, the hesitation that came before it, what the weeks in between launch and results felt like, and what changed once the team had sat with the feedback. One of the threads Frank kept coming back to, is how powerfully a 360 measures the gap between intention and impact, in other words, the difference between how a leader means to come across and how their behaviour lands. Closing that gap matters because it's leadership behaviour itself, he argued, that drives a team's productivity and how well it functions day to day. 🔍 In this episode we explore: What was really going on for the exec team when they decided a 360 was the right move How to get a team genuinely bought in, rather than just compliant What the process felt like week to week, from launch to getting the results back The moment a piece of feedback caught the team off guard Why a 360 is such a powerful measure of intention versus impact in leadership behaviour How leadership behaviour itself drives a team's productivity and how well it functions What's different in how the team operates now, looking back Whether a 360 just confirms what everyone already knew, or genuinely shifts something How the team handled feedback they wanted to push back on or dismiss More About Frank Christie Frank Christie is a strategic leadership and organisational development consultant with 30 years' experience working with people and organisations across South Africa. He founded the Thembalitsha Foundation, driving social entrepreneurship, education and healthcare initiatives for marginalised communities.
