Haiku Roadcast Season 2, Episode 10

After yet another long break, we return to discuss and play the rest of the songs from our debut album, leaving only a little room for miscellaneous conversation that, as a result, is very random indeed. Plus, Chris has an unjustifiable amount of fun with the sound effects in Garage Band. We'll see you back here after we rethink the podcast for season 3!

  2. 05/29/2007

Haiku Roadcast Season 2, Episode 9

We're back again, gibbering on about politics, religion, Jerry Falwell, looks back and forward at shows past and future (including a mention of our first-ever out-of-town show, which is upcoming in July), and the many other things you've come to expect from us. Except beer. Oh, and we continue our series of talks about songs on the album with 'Walk Away'. You know you missed us!

  3. 04/09/2007

Haiku Roadcast Season 2, Episode 8

After a busy few weeks, we look back on our epic St. Patrick's Day, look ahead to the McDowell Mountain Music Festival, and break into impromptu song! We also discuss the Song a Week Podcast and some of our other doings.

  4. 02/26/2007

Haiku Roadcast Season 2, Episode 7

Yet again we wait a long time between podcasts -- this time, we were delayed by hardware troubles -- but we're back with lots of exciting news and another song from our debut album. This one's short and sweet as we hunker down to prepare for our two St. Patrick's Day shows! (more info on those at the website, and perhaps in the next podcast if we can get it out in time.

  5. 12/23/2006

Haiku Roadcast Season 2, Episode 6

So we vanish for almost two months without a word, and then we offer up two RoadCasts in a week?! What gives? I'll tell you ... It's (Christmas/Hannukah/Kwanzaa/Winter Solstice) time! And as a very special treat, we're proud to offer three new holiday-themed compositions available solely through the RoadCast, performed live in the Pierce Street studios. We also bring back the BeerCast for one night and one night only, and talk about some other stuff, like our upcoming Dubliner Shows (40th St. and Thunderbird, Jan. 12 and 13). Keep an eye out soon for news about a special guest appearance at those shows that could make them among our best ever! In the meantime, Happy Holidays and be good to one another. And don't forget to check out the previous RoadCast episode, chock full of music and news!

  6. 12/20/2006

Haiku Roadcast Season 2, Episode 5

Wow, we've been away for awhile! Did you miss us? You know we missed you! This time around we feature our first real special guest, Boston-based singer-songwriter and longtime friend of Chris's Jon Waterman (visit www.jonwaterman.com to see more!). We also talk about some fun past shows (with sound snippets of some of the other acts) and upcoming shows -- incidentally, we misspoke in the RoadCast: The Dubliner shows are coming up on Jan. 12 and 13, not Jan. 5 and 6. Enjoy this one quickly because our Christmas RoadCast is hot on this one's heels!

  7. 10/23/2006

Haiku Roadcast Season 2, Episode 4

We carry on our epic Roadcast series on the songs from our debut album, If Not Tonight ..., with a discussion of Suicide. Further, we talk about the wonders of butter and Battlestar Galactica, and finally offer up a solution to the violence in Iraq. You've never heard a podcast like it!

  8. 09/07/2006

Haiku Roadcast Season 2, Episode 3

The debut album is no longer upcoming -- it's here! We talk about our historic album release show, as well as how you can get the album if you weren't at the show or you're out of state, or you're just lazy. Also discussed are exciting music we found on garageband.com and more. This episode's featured Haiku Rd. song is 'I'm Sure You Could Tell.'
