Episode #31- Alex Papp and Divining Rod

We have two return performers with some great music. Alex Papp delivers us a Doors/Papp medley and Divining Rod gives us some songs from the heart, all while having a few drinks to celebrate the end of our first run. We'll be on hiatus until the end of the summer, so catch up on the older listens. See you on the other side.

Episode #30 - Inside Voices, Monster Furniture and Memento Mori

We hit the big 30 in this episode, with return performances from Monster Furniture and Memento Mori, and featuring new-to-Putnam's performer Inside Voices. These three solo acts are also regular collaborators. Carl gets into the details, and lucks out with a busted PA.

  3. 06/06/2016

Episode #29- The Dry States, Foxglove, and Carl Banks

In this episode, we get treated to three tunes - Foxglove kills his old birds, the Dry States update a classic, and Carl gets lazy on a dreary day. Check it out here, and see it live at Putnam's Pub.

  4. 05/30/2016

Episode #28- Charming Disaster, Tom DiMenna, and Solid Goold

In this episode, Solid Goold develops a crush and Tom DiMenna gets thirsty while Charming Disaster kills a few things. Check it out for live music and streetside interviews, hosted by Carl Banks.

Episode #27- Alex Papp, Sim Ross, and Sisterwives

Carl gets screwed by the G train and comes to us from inside a yellow cab on this episode. We bring you new songs from Putnam's regulars Alex Papp and Sisterwives, plus Sim Ross - no stranger to Putnam's but hasn't come back since we started the podcasts. Good music and stories. Check it out.

Episode #26- Owl & Wolf, Pete and the Yawptones

We enter our new quarter century with a new act to Acoustic Sunset, Owl & Wolf. They have some great music and an extended interview. We follow that up with friend of the show Peter Fabrizio, who plays with his band, the Yawptones (actually just drums this time). Carl can't stop to chat in this episode, but the tunes sound nice and the streetside is fine.

  7. 05/01/2016

Episode #24- Rachel Lynn, Pete Ayres, and Carl Banks

In this episode, we feature three original tunes. Rachel Lynn comes in to Putnam's for the first time, Pete Ayres returns, and Carl sings about John Brown, but first goes fishing in the Keys. Also, Rachel's accompanist, Stoddard Blackall, has a podcast right here on SoundCloud as well - https://soundcloud.com/thestodcast, so check that out as well.

Episode #22- Plain Blaine and Katie Ortiz

In this episode, we get treated to two originals by Katie Ortiz and Plain Blaine, while Carl runs into a friend on the street and explains the consequences of transposing instruments from his youth. Check it out with a tequila of your choice.
