    Our guest today is Chris Cheng. Chris is an American sports shooter, Second Amendment and diversity outreach advocate, and History Channel's Top Shot Season 4 Champion. He is also the author of the memoir and guide for beginning shooters book, Shoot to Win. And now, Chris has authored The Purple Heart Battalion, which tells the story of Japanese American soldiers of the 100th Battalion / 442nd Regimental Combat Team during World War II—men who fought with extraordinary courage for America while many of their own families were unjustly incarcerated back home. It’s a historical novel about love, honor, survival, and what it means to belong to a country that has not always fully believed you do. 1) Many people know you as a champion shooter and Second Amendment advocate. How did your journey evolve into writing a historical novel about one of the most remarkable military units in American history? 2) Give us an overview of The Purple Heart Battalion.
