Genesis Church with Joshua Bingle

I haven’t been to church in so so long. I forgot what it even feels like to be connect to god but this makes me feel closer to ever.

pastors a douche.

I listened to the sermon where Joshua talked about how "he never got depressed after his wife left him because he had faith". That feels problematic when looking at the figures of the Bible who did struggle with depression - Paul being one of them... he totally had faith. I worry that his comments are damaging to those who struggle with mental illness. Would not recomend this church to friends or family because of their lead pastor.

Just not into how the pastor acts and comes across.
