The Charlotte Storytellers Podcast

This podcast takes you through the journey of a story. Each storyteller is introduced, and then he/she tells a story. Then, they discuss the story: what it means, why the storyteller told it, etc. A great listen!

I just started listening to podcast with 2 shows. Both of these were true stories of childhood antics. I hope more will be interesting, well told stories.

I like that beyond the regular meetings, the showcases, and slams, there is yet another way to enjoy what these folks are doing. The podcasting medium really lends itself to this CLT group, especially the way their stories are thoughtfully discussed after they’re told - nothing about these conversations feels stilted and editing is well done. The atmosphere is fun and I like the ‘bite-size’ 20-something minute duration of the episodes. Perfect for listening in the car. Plus, the stories are great :-)

I love everything about this podcast. From the totally funky intro/outro beats (which I always want more of) to the first part where we learn about the storytellers to the stories themselves, this has become one of my weekly not-to-miss listens!
