Project Clio - Before the Fall

In honor of the year anniversary of the wonderful Horizon: Zero Dawn by Guerilla Games (I'm a little late, but it's not the end of the world), I've decided to throw together a little project using the audio logs from within the game to put together a more comprehensive and cohesive through line. This project is still in the works, so any of your lovely input would be much appreciated. This episode is one of four, so please enjoy!

Treasure Trove - DmC 3

Welcome back, Treasure Seekers. This week I jump into one of the best action games of the modern era: Devil May Cry 3. Starting back at the beginning of the series' timeline, DMC3 dives into the beginnings of Dante along with some of his family history. Have a listen and feel free leave some feedback.

Treasure Trove - Gravity Rush

Welcome back, Treasure Seekers. This week I want to talk to you about Kat, the Gravity Queen, in her game Gravity Rush. One of the only titles to really deliver the promise of console quality gaming on a handheld, this open world game inspired by Western comics is a refreshing take on the open world style of game.

Treasure Trove - Severed

Welcome back, Treasure Seekers. This week, I take on the best of the best when it comes to touch screen-based combat: Severed. The follow up to Drinkbox Studio's excellent platformer Guacamelee!, Severed is a bleaker look into how to cope with tragedy while delivering an elegant solution to touch screen combat controls. Enjoy! Also, here's the link to the YouTube video I mention in the episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmFWw3ooDk4&feature=youtu.be

Treasure Trove - Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

Welcome back, Treasure Seekers. This week I dive into one of my favorite franchises: Kingdom Hearts. Specifically, the first handheld iteration, Chain of Memories. Not only was this one of the more unique adaptations of the franchise, it is also easily one of the most overlooked GameBoy Advanced gems.

Treasure Trove - The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap

Welcome back, Treasure Seekers. This week I talk about my top pick for the best game in the Legend of Zelda franchise: Minish Cap. Okay, so not my top pick, but easily one of my top three. Minish Cap takes Link to the realm of the Minish, a species that could easily be mistaken for those elves that helped the cobbler make his shoes. If you are still reading this and interested in why this bite-sized iteration of the franchise is so great, listen up and enjoy.

Treasure Trove - Legend of Dragoon

Treasure Trove is all about bringing to light great, lesser appreciated games that are out there waiting to be played. This week I bring you a JRPG classic from the end of the PSOne's life cycle: The Legend of Dragoon. In an attempt to not be overshadowed by the industry titans Square and Enix, Sony dropped 3.5 years and millions of dollars into one of the most overlooked JRPG's of the time period. Do you like JRPG's? Do you like dragons and fantasy settings? Then listen to why The Legend of Dragoon deserves a spot on your digital shelf.

Treasure Trove - God of War: Ghost of Sparta

Treasure Trove is all about bringing to light great, lesser appreciated games that are out there waiting to be played. It has been a while since I've put in the last episode, so here it is! God of War was just recently announced by Sony at E3 for PS4 and is looking to be a more emotional journey for Kratos. But many of you have probably never knew that there is already a game that delves deeper into Kratos' past and his character. Ghost of Sparta focuses on Kratos learning about a brother he never knew he had being taken from him by the Gods and Kratos doing what he can to rescue this sibling. Listen to why Ghost of Sparta is the must play God of War game to play before the newest game hits PS4.

Treasure Trove - Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward

Treasure Trove is all about bringing to light great, lesser appreciated games that are out there waiting to be played. This week I promise the show is all about a deep cut: Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. This obscure, sci-fi themed game follows nine captives attempting to escape their deaths by solving puzzle rooms put together by a small CGI bunny named Zero III. I know. It's weird. But I promise it's great! Just listen in.

Treasure Trove - DangranonpaTHH

Treasure Trove is all about bringing to light great, lesser appreciated games that are out there waiting to be played. This week I bring you the diamond in the rough known as Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, a visual novel/adventure game in which students are kidnapped by a black and white killer teddy bear. "What the hell?" you may ask. Just trust me and listen to why this game is one of PS Vita's best.

I really enjoy your podcast! It's a nice over view of some overlooked games (some my favorites and some I've never heard of)! You do a great job of making a case for why to play without spoiling the story. I've already add a few of these to my play list. I hope you are able to continue making episodes every now and then.
