    Are You God's Friend?

If God used one word to describe how he sees you, what would you want it to be? Treasured. Favored. Chosen. Faithful. Righteous — Scripture uses all of them. But only one man in the entire Bible is called God's friend: Abraham. In the final message of our Find My Friends series, Pastor Brad Sarian looks at the most important friendship of all — friendship with God. Most people assume God just wants them to be a good person. But you were created for intimacy with him, and when that's missing, everything else in your life feels the strain. We'll walk through three questions: 1. What does friendship with God look like? 2. Why do we need it? 3. How do we grow in it? Salvation was never about being good enough. It's about knowing him. And Jesus gave his own life to call you friend. Scripture referenced: Isaiah 41:8 · Genesis 12:1-4 · Genesis 17:1-2 · Genesis 18:16-21 · James 2:22-23 · Exodus 33:11 · Matthew 7:21-23 · John 17:3 · John 15:11-15

How to Build Lasting Friendships//Find My Friends (Pt.3)// Tim Longo

We all want friendships that last, but keeping them can be harder than making them. Life gets busy. Seasons change. We disappoint one another. So how do we cultivate the kinds of friendships that grow deeper rather than drift apart? In this message, we explore what Scripture teaches about building lasting spiritual friendships. Looking at Proverbs and examples throughout the Bible, we'll discover the qualities that help friendships endure. Scripture: Proverbs 27, Ruth 1:15–17, Colossians 3:13, 1 John 1:7, Acts 20, Proverbs 17:17

Why is it so difficult to build meaningful friendships—and what does the Bible say real friendship should look like? In this message, we explore a surprising picture of friendship found in the early church and consider what may be keeping us from the relationships we desire. Scripture: Acts 2:41–42; Galatians 5:22–23 CSB

    You Were Made for Friendship

Everyone wants friends. Yet many of us feel more disconnected than ever. We were never meant to do life alone. From the opening pages of Genesis to the life of Jesus, the Bible tells a remarkable story: friendship isn’t an optional luxury—it’s part of God’s design for human flourishing. Before there was sin, before there was shame, God declared that one thing was “not good”: for humanity to be alone. In this first message of our series, Find My Friends, we explore: - Why we all long for deep friendship - God’s design for relationships from creation - How sin fractured our friendships - How Jesus restores us to friendship with God and one another - Why genuine friendship is essential to following Christ If you’ve ever felt lonely, struggled to build meaningful friendships, or wondered why relationships can be so difficult, this message is for you.
