008 Backpacker ABC's A Great kids hiking book

One of the best parts of this children's book is the art! My daughters loved the cute pictures on each page. Reggie is five and she had fun guessing the rhymes as we read through the ABC's. Raichel is nine and was able to read through the boo with no issue. If you know a kid who loves to hike, camp or backpack this would be perfect for them. This show, Riachel is teaching kids to stay on the trail. She mentions different hazards and some dangers kids can face when wondering off the main path. Our lunchtime was not a call this month, but we recorded our own lunch right by a river! Every show there is a "You might hear it on a hike sound" and in this episode, Raichel picked a fun sound. Berries

In this episode, Raichel talks about eating berries along the trail. Which berries are ok to eat and which ones will make you sick. She reads off a list of edible berries in the Pacific Northwest. Also, she gives a friend, Karstyn a call to talk about lunch on the trail. There are many fun things to eat for lunch and snack, so she thought it would be fun to hear what other kids like to eat at lunchtime. Every show there is a "You might hear it on a hike sound" and in the first episode, Raichel picked a very hard sound. Can you guess what it is? Check out Rabbit Wilde, Raichels favorite band!
