#520: Are you giving your warm leads… the ICK? - #Tashmas Day 11 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/520 I’m not usually the type to sound alarms or buzz the fear horn just for the sake of it. But in this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I want to have a real talk about how you’re engaging with your audience—especially those leads that are starting to warm up. Because here’s the thing: some of you are accidentally giving your warm leads the ick. This came up thanks to a question in one of my group calls, where someone literally asked, “Am I giving my warm leads the ick? As soon as someone gets invested, I feel like I do something to totally repel them.” And you know what? That’s a super common worry. Normally, my default is to reassure everyone—“No, no, no, you’re not doing anything wrong!” But once we broke her process down, a few red flags popped up, and I figured if one person’s asking, we should talk about it on the podcast. Plus, it’s Day 11 of #Tashmas, and I’ve got a special gift for you at the end. Wait… What is #Tashmas? I do it for both my birthday (1-12 March) and pre-Christmas (1-12 December) every year! Every day from now until my birthday on 12th March, there will be a new daily podcast episode, with a hot tip or practical strategy as per usual… but you ALSO get a gift! I love sharing the birthday vibes, and what better way to do that?! The daily gift could be a freebie, a special offer, a competition… but there will be something for YOU every single day. When You Get a DM or Email: Celebrate (But Not Too Loudly) Honestly, when warm leads email or send you a DM, that’s cause for celebration! It’s that moment where you dance around the house and do a little happy wiggle. I get it—the excitement is hard to contain. But let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. Just like that time a guy called me his girlfriend on a first date (yep, true story!), showing your hand too fast can feel awkward on the other side. Be friendly. Be positive. But maybe don’t go all in with, “OMG, thank you so much, this is amazing, we’re going to work together and it’ll be incredible!” When you come across that desperate, it can trigger warning signals for the lead. It gives them the ick—even though your excitement is genuine. ...read the full artricle at: tashcorbin.com/520 Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail! #519: Your offers need to be more specific - #Tashmas Day 10 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/519 Today, we’re talking about something I see come up ALL the time for heart-centred business owners: your offers. More specifically, how to make your offers way more effective at attracting and converting the RIGHT clients—without making your sales pages a million miles long. I want to give you some practical ways to get specific, keep it short, and make your offers pop! PLUS I have a very special offer with this episode of #Tashmas. Why Your Offers Aren’t Landing (And What To Do) I spend a lot of time online, probably more than most people, and because of that, I get a unique view of what’s happening across the Heart-Centred Community (we’ve got over 30,000 members, after all!) and among small business owners just like you. One trend I keep seeing? Offers are getting more generic and more vague. Plus, the sales copy is getting longer and longer. We've all heard that saying, “I would have written you a shorter letter, but I didn’t have enough time.” It actually takes time and energy to be precise and concise, instead of just throwing all the words at the wall. Here’s what actually happens: When your offer is vague and generic, people scroll right past. Those posts get the least comments, the least reach, the least engagement. If we want offers that work, we need to be specific… but not long-winded. ...read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/519 Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail! #518: Advanced procrastination tactics are on the rise - #Tashmas Day 9 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/518 Welcome to another episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast! Today, I want to shine a light on something that might just hit a little close to home—especially if you’re a business owner who sometimes finds themselves stuck, spinning wheels, or endlessly “preparing” instead of actually doing. We’re diving deep into advanced procrastination tactics, and why they’re suddenly everywhere I look. And make sure to check out your gift with this episode of #Tashmas—it’s a game-changer for anyone who’s tired of letting advanced procrastination get in the way of their big business dreams. Why Simple Works (And Why We Overcomplicate Everything) I spend a LOT of time talking about strategy with clients—inside my group programs, on retreats, in social media DMs, or one-to-one with my VIPs. And something I’m hearing a lot at the moment is, “I just need to get everything sorted before I...” (fill in the blank: launch, sell, send the proposal, pitch the offer). I have a bit of a superpower for cutting through the noise and getting laser-focused on what actually matters. It’s not about being harsh or bossy—actually, a lot of it comes from my self-confessed laziness! If there’s a way to get results without busywork, I’ll find it. I’m ambitious and lazy, which, trust me, is a magic combo when it comes to making things happen with less effort. But here’s what I’ve noticed recently: the simple strategies are suddenly much, much harder for people to execute. Even when I cut the fluff and give clients a clear, doable plan... something gets in the way. People get stuck on all the “shoulds” and “maybes”—and convince themselves they have to do a thousand other things before doing the thing that actually matters. ...read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/518 Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail! #517: IWD – The one thing I wish we’d stop saying about women - #Tashmas Day 8 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/517 It’s International Women’s Day, so of course I couldn’t let this episode go by without talking about something super close to my heart.  Today, for IWD, I’m diving into the one thing I really wish we’d stop saying about women. Trust me, it’s more powerful than you might think. Plus, it’s day 8 of #Tashmas, which means I’ve got a fabulous gift for you at the end—don’t miss it! The Hidden Narrative: “Women = Drama” (And Why It’s So Problematic) I want to talk about the belief that if you get a group of women together, it’s going to be dramatic, fraught, or even “horrific.” You know the ones: “A team full of women? Brace yourself.” Or the social posts that say things like, “This is why I don’t have many women friends,” often shared by women themselves. It’s this story that women can’t get along, that we’re always competing—and it’s everywhere. But where does this idea come from? Spoiler alert: it’s all steeped in patriarchy. When you look at matriarchal societies, this belief just didn’t exist. Women centred on children, life, and community, rather than buying into “divide and conquer.” In patriarchal societies, though, any time women gathered without male supervision, it was seen as dangerous. Why? Because when women support each other—when we educate, inform, and uplift one another—we threaten the system. ...read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/517 Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail! #516: My algorithm is healing - #Tashmas Day 7 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/516 If you’re feeling frustrated with your social media experience right now, you’re definitely not alone. I’ve been there too! If you’ve noticed your Facebook or Instagram feed is full of stuff you don’t care about, or you can’t find posts from the people and businesses you actually want to connect with, this episode is for you. I spent the past few months on a mission: I wanted to consciously begin healing my algorithm and bring the joy back to my social experience. And guess what? It’s working! Here’s exactly what I did (and what you can try too). And because this is a #Tashmas episode of the podcast, I have a gift for you at the end of today's episode. Why I Decided to Fix My Feed It’s such a common struggle: business owners complaining that the algorithm is keeping them from reaching their audience, and even as users, it feels like your feed is cluttered with content you didn’t sign up for. I was tired of scrolling endlessly, only to see ads, suggested posts, or bland content, hardly ever real updates from the people and communities I care about. So, at the start of 2026, I decided to be the change. I wanted to create a feed that actually felt good for me, and at the same time, help more small businesses and new creators get seen—because it’s tough for them to get organic reach these days. My goal: follow and engage with businesses I genuinely like, and intentionally shape my feed to be inspiring and useful. ...read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/516 Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail! #515: Niching for the “Un-Niche-Able” - #Tashmas Day 6 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/515 Ever felt like your business just can’t be niched? Maybe you’ve been around for a while and your offers now sprawl across all sorts of topics, or maybe you’re just getting started but the thought of putting yourself in a box makes you want to run? I call this the “un-niche-able” dilemma, and you’re not alone when it comes to niching. Today on the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I want to make niching feel waaaay less restricting and, honestly, a whole lot more helpful (if you actually need it at all). And stick around because, in true #Tashmas style, there’s a little gift for you at the end. Let’s Talk About the “Un-Niche-Able” Feeling No matter where you are in business, “niching” can bring up all sorts of resistance. Maybe you’ve been doing your thing for ages and now your messaging covers heaps of different audiences and offers. Or you’re new in business, bursting with creativity (and ideas for days), and you can’t stand the thought of narrowing yourself to just one area. Sometimes it comes from loving what you do so much that you want to help absolutely EVERYONE. Suddenly, every conversation about niching feels like someone’s trying to put you in a cage. You don’t have to feel boxed in! Here’s how I see it: being the “un-nicheable” just means you haven’t found a style of niching that fits you… yet. ...read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/515 Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail! #514: Lead or Lurker? You need Qualifying Questions! - #Tashmas Day 5 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/514 Ever felt like your audience is full of lurkers—people who seem interested but never actually buy or book a call? In this episode of the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I break down exactly how to tell if someone is just hanging out on the sidelines or if they’re a genuine lead. Spoiler: it’s all about using qualifying questions (and being a bit braver with your outreach). And because this is day 5 of #Tashmas, I've got a special gift for you at the end of today's episode! Why Waiting for Leads Doesn’t Work You might have heard me say, if you’re only waiting for people to come to you and announce, “I’m interested in working with you!”—you’re missing out on 80% (or more) of your leads. Most people don’t reach out—they’re waiting for a nudge. If your only leads are those who take the first step, you’re leaving money on the table. Proactive lead generation is key. ...read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/514 Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail! #513: Kickstart 2026 Lessons I need to share - #Tashmas Day 4 - Tash Corbin, Heart-Centred Business Podcast

Full article and show notes available at: tashcorbin.com/513 Something I absolutely love about being a business owner is how much of what we do turns out to be a co-creation. Today on the Heart-Centred Business Podcast, I want to share five big lessons from Kickstart 2026, the January event I ran, which felt like a true co-creation with everyone who participated. These lessons are powerful and grounded, and they show us how to build businesses that feel more aligned, create a sense of momentum, and help us get unstuck from that never-ending to-do list feeling. If you’re new here, Kickstart is an event I’ve run every January for several years, and we also repeat the process in May as Biz Boost. It’s all about generating momentum and focusing on the most important tasks as business owners. And since this is #Tashmas Day 4, I have a fabulous gift for you at the end of the episode! Lesson 1: If Something’s Not Working, It’s Not YOU Who Needs to Change This first lesson landed big time this Kickstart. If something’s not working in your business, it’s not you who needs to change. I know I’ve said this in sixteen different ways over the last couple of years, but this time, it really took root. Here’s what tends to happen: You struggle to get your podcast out consistently, and then decide, “I need to be more organised.” Or you get frustrated because you’re behind on client notes and end up hating your business—and yourself—over it. The solution starts with recognising and actually embodying that belief: it’s not me, it’s the business that needs to change around me. ...read the full article at: tashcorbin.com/513 Let me know your thoughts via our Text FanMail!
