TV, Movies, Music, Books, Pop Culture, baby!

I’m subscribed to about 20 different podcasts. This is the only one where I listen to literally every single episode, and the Jason Montzoukas episodes twice. The relationship between Andy and Chris is really what it’s all about, and recent episodes haven’t been as good with the absence of Andy (but dudes making TV show so cmon I can’t complain). That being said, still a great podcast, and if you didn’t like recent episodes definitely make sure to give it another try in a couple months when Andy is back on full time!

Too much about BriarPatch

Sooo, for the most part I like the Watch. Chris Ryan and Andy Greenwald are funny and all the guest hosts are as well. However, they have GOT to stop talking about BriarPatch. Yes, we get it. Andy is making a TV show. But it’s getting tiresome, every episode dedicated to Andy the showrunner. Pretty soon, why don’t we just change the name of the show from “The Watch” to “Watch BriarPatch.”

Can’t handle these guys’ manner of speaking

Chris Walsh’s voice is insufferable. The other guy can’t state an assertion without saying it as a question, high pitch, unconfident pause??? Even if the content had marginal merit, I can’t handle the way these post-millennials speak. Same for the smart, but unlistenable Mallory Rubin. Even Bill effing Simmons is doing it now. Stop it - you all sound like immature sods.
