Crimelines has been my favorite true crime podcast for a long time, and Charlie is truly in a league of her own. What keeps me coming back is how much care and integrity she brings to every case. She digs into court records, speaks with victims’ families and friends, and takes the time to understand the full story. Her research is intentional and thorough, never feeling rushed or sensationalized. Charlie doesn’t just tell stories, she investigates them. She often covers cases that don’t get mainstream attention; murders and disappearances that deserve to be remembered and examined just as carefully. She presents the facts clearly, lays out concise timelines, and makes even the complex cases easy to follow. What truly sets Crimelines apart is Charlie’s fairness. She looks at every angle and consistently adds meaningful context, whether it’s a social issue, a legal nuance, or something deeper that helps you understand why the case matters beyond the headlines. Crimelines may not be the biggest podcast out there, but the quality is unmatched. If you value thoughtful, ethical, deeply researched storytelling, this is the podcast to listen to. I’m genuinely so grateful for all the work Charlie puts into this show.

I appreciate this podcast very much. The host is clearly an intelligent and thoughtful person who puts research and consideration into each case she covers. She sheds light and insight on important issues of human behavior and the legal system. I have either listened to, or read the transcript of, almost every episode and really appreciate the content and presentation. One case I found particularly interesting was about the man from Australia who was experiencing mental illness and killed his caseworker due to delusions and paranoia. as a mental health professional here in the United States, cases like this always get my attention. He had a great deal of support around him and this is such a tragic example of what can happen with serious mental illness, even when so much help and concern are being provided by family members and professionals. Stephen seemed to be a caring nurse and it is incredibly sad that he lost his life caring for others. Keep up the good work and thank you for your dedication and quality podcast. Also, I applaud you for setting an example by striving for balance in your personal and professional life.
