Oaks of Righteousness

Many podcasts on Christian theology are so technical that recent converts struggle to keep up, or so simplistic little educational value can be found. Oaks of righteousness podcast provides an accessible approach to theology and Christian practices through the conversation of the three guys. If you like to listen to Thinking Fellows, I think you will find yourself at home within their conversations. Check out, in particular, their episodes on the Psalms and the Ordinances for well educated, sincere, and thought provoking content.

Knowing that this would not be the product of deep-pocketed national sponsorship or an influence-wielding superstar personality, I had tempered expectations for this podcast. After all, this was just three random seminarians swapping stories about their studies early in the morning. Or so I thought. What I realized after listening to several episodes was this is much more than surface level banter. The men's deep-seated love for Jesus Christ, The Word, and God's Kingdom spill out of every episode. Yes, the style of the podcast is conversational, but in each conversation the men share important truths of Scripture and grapple with how those truths come to bear on the believer's life--all while having a bit of fun. I highly recommend listening! You won't regret it.
