I have no doubt this podcast is a fantastic listen for certain parts of the fandom. The hosts are well articulated and clearly have lots of experience with both animated shows and their respective fandoms.
However, while there are plenty of worthwhile topics explored, other topics are mostly ignored - it becomes fairly clear which characters, themes, plot lines, and relationships the hosts prefer. The podcast as a whole also tends to be more critical, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but I personally like a bit more positivity and excitement in these kinds of discussions.
Basically, listen to a few episodes to decide if this is your cup of tea. I still listen to every episode to listen to intelligent discussion of a show I greatly enjoy, but I never leave with the impression that the hosts actually enjoyed the same episodes I watched.
