Episode 67 – Mega Drive Mayhem

To many, the FM synth-driven sound of the Sega Mega Drive simply is the sound of video games, as its run of success in the early 1990s delivered countless brilliant original titles in addition to some very convincing arcade ports. In this episode, I share some of my favourite tunes from this beautiful little slab … Continue reading "Episode 67 – Mega Drive Mayhem"

This podcast changed my life

This podcast is the original voice that is exactly what the podcasting world needed. There’s no one else who is putting such a perfect spin on the subject of competitive quilting. The way this show discusses the subject is as invigorating as the finest football commentators in world history, though I wish they weren’t always so hard on the Norwegian quilters. They’ve got feelings too, guys!

Michael is a fresh and funny voice in the VGM community. The man is sweet, smart, and well-versed in a corner of VGM, and the gaming scene in general, that fans in the states rarely get to see. While you're waiting for new eps to drop, go check out MIchael's original VGM and chiptune work as Mibri, or listen to his guest appearances on Rhythm & Pixels and The VGMbassy!

Cheers!

Love the show, the accent, and the different perspective from my American upbringing. The battles are a real treat, feeling like a few buddies hanging out drinking and having a friendly competition.
