    We discussed the dangers of artificial sweeteners with Janet Starr Hull, PHD who is an educator, author, counselor, blogger, and motivator. She was previously an OSHA Environmental Hazardous Waste Emergency Response Specialist and Toxicologist, a firefighter, and an environmental science professor at The University of North Texas. In 1991, she was miss-diagnosed with Grave’s disease but no one knew the cause or why she was dying. Because of her engineering background, she discovered that aspartame (NutraSweet/Equal®) caused her illness! Knowing the CAUSE, she was able to cure herself naturally in a matter of months.     End of a 26-year mission? Today’s show reviewed some of the history (highs, lows and funny bits) of Healthy by Nature and how the show will change (some will probably say “be improved”) by my stepping aside as host. I thanked my assistants, listeners, sponsors, benefactors and my ever-patient husband, Bill. Oops, flipping the pages in my notes, I accidentally skipped the part where I wanted to thank radio staff and my brother, Jim Russell, for all his loving help over the years with the website and anything else I needed.
