Like BroadwayCon itself, BroadwayCon The Podcast brings you through the stage door to be part of the excitement that happens onstage and behind-the-scenes. It is a place where Broadway fans come together to celebrate the shows they love with people who bring them to life.

Each episode will feature conversations with the casts and creatives of Broadway's greatest hits (and, sometimes, misses!), and discussions featuring the industry’s top producers and designers.

Patrick and Mo (mostly Mo) talk about it all!  Have Opinions on the topics we discussed? Email me: Patrick@broadwaycon.com

Episode 12: Ben Rimalower on Patti Lupone

Episode 12: Ben Rimalower on Patti Lupone

For this episode we're bringing you the tale of Broadway's ultimate superfan. From as far back as he can remember, Ben Rimalower has been obsessed with Patti Lupone. When the opportunity came up to work on a show she was starring in, he couldn't believe his luck. That experience would be just the beginning of a long and fabulous--if complicated--relationship with the Tony-winning star. It's SUCH a good story that he ultimately turned it into a one man show called Patti Issues.

Informative with a side of Jazz Hands!

This is a heartbreaking podcast, if only cuz I doubt I'll ever make it to BroadwayCon, but well, I can live vicariously through this show. Now that another Con has passed I'd love to hear this show broadcast the panels from it for those of us who missed it.

Awesome insights to Broadway

Love listening to these podcasts to get a better understanding of all things Broadway theatre, both on and off the stage. Patrick is an awesome podcast host who asks all the right questions of his guests.

Full disclosure though - Ep 6, the interview with the fantastic Lena Hall drove me mad. It sounded like she was eating while talking for most of the interview. I had enough 15 min in and had to fast forward to Jeanine Tesori.

Definitely Worth A Listen!

I've been listening to the long-form interviews on the Theater People Podcast (also 5 stars) and this is a perfect complement. Patrick and crew do a spectacular job. And don't get me started on the guests....Jennifer Ashley Tepper gives an amazing brief history of some classic broadway houses (check out her books) and stars/participants share their stories and experiences about the event. Enjoy!
