Restoring Honor to Women: The Legacy of Bathsheba — Proverbs 31:10–31

How might a family change when it restores honor to the women whose strength and wisdom help shape its future? In this Mother’s Day gathering, Justin revisits the way Bathsheba has been remembered and challenges the blame and suspicion often placed on women. Reading Proverbs 31 through the lens of her legacy, he considers virtue, courage, generosity, and the influence of mothers in raising the next generation. The message also brings covenant into marriage as mutual support for one another’s calling. The closing ministry time extends the invitation beyond mothers to the women of the whole house, calling men to listen, pray, and stand alongside them. This is more than an annual tribute: it is an invitation to build relationships in which daughters, sisters, wives, and mothers are recognized, strengthened, and given room to carry what the Father has entrusted to them.

Leading a Generation into His Promise — Numbers 13:25–14:9

What kind of leadership helps a generation believe the promise when the obstacles look overwhelming? In this commissioning gathering, Justin turns to Joshua and Caleb as examples of courage that refuses to let fear determine the future. The account of the spies becomes a call to remember the One who brought His people out and the purpose for which He brought them forward. First Timothy’s instruction to set an example frames the recognition of Clinton and Deanna Dieter as youth pastors, while the elders wash their feet as an expression of support. The message looks beyond a title or a moment of appointment toward young people learning to walk in faith themselves. This gathering invites the whole family to stand behind the next generation, helping them recognize their calling and face what lies ahead with confidence in Him.
