    Coming Back to Life After Perimenopause Made Me Disappear

    Somewhere around 48, I went quiet. I closed a business, got off social media, and just went inward. And for a while it felt like that was how I'd be forever. This episode is about what happened on the other side of that. Hormones balanced and finally feel good again. Something has shifted and I started wanting to be seen again, after seasons of hiding. I get into the bike program I didn't want to do... The tiger-stripe pants I never would've bought a year ago... The rave I almost talked myself out of...     I Sold $100 Skincare for 10 Years. Now I Use Dollar Tree.

    I spent over ten years selling high-end skincare. I stood at parties telling people the drugstore stuff couldn't compare and I believed every word of it. I don't believe it anymore. In this episode I get into what actually changed my skin back when I thought it was the $100 products doing the work, and the thing I've realized since that I wish someone had told me twenty years ago.     What getting to the top of an MLM actually taught me (and why I'd never do it again).

    I would never do it again. I also wouldn't trade it. I got into network marketing on maternity leave, thinking I'd sell a little skincare on the side. Within a year I had the white Mercedes. Eventually I was at the top of the company, my team was selling over a million a year, and my own checks hit $25,000 months. I also had a tax hole that nearly took us out. In this one I'm telling the whole thing. How I got in, how fast it climbed, and the moment the rose-colored glasses came off. I'm not here to trash it or sell it.     Full Body Yes, Full Body No: Listening to My Body at 51

    Two things happened to me in the last couple weeks. One made my body go into full panic mode over a client I never should have said yes to. The other was a concert that made me feel more alive than I have in months. Turns out they're the same lesson. I'm talking about learning to tell the difference between a real gut-level no and just plain fear dressed up as one, because I almost missed out on something great by confusing the two.     Jupiter in Leo: Why I Finally Opened TikTok at 50.

    There's this thing happening astrologically right now called Jupiter in Leo, and even though I'm not someone who lives by horoscopes, I can't fully write this stuff off either. Jupiter is the planet of growth and expansion, and from June 29, 2026 through July 26, 2027 it's in Leo, the sign of visibility, creativity, courage, and being seen. Last year it was in Cancer, which is quiet and inward, and honestly that tracked for me. I spent the last couple of years heads down in my business, getting my health and hormones sorted, staying pretty quiet. This next stretch is the opposite energy. It's the push to stop hiding. I bought the Jupiter in Leo workbook from Spirit Daughter (I'm not affiliated, I just like her stuff) and spent a Sunday journaling through it. What came out of it was the thing I already knew but had been avoiding: the podcast, showing up on video, sharing what I actually love at 50, all of it. That night I opened TikTok, turned on the camera, and just started talking. No strategy, no format, just me. One video is already at 4,000 views. I have no idea where it's going and I don't need to. In this episode I talk about what Jupiter in Leo actually is, why I think it's worth paying attention to whether you're a Leo or not, the fear of being wrong publicly that's kept me small, and what it feels like to finally stop waiting for the perfect moment.     I survived the 7-year LEO chaos cycle (and have the scars to prove it)

Almost went into bankruptcy. Had to sell our dream house. Multiple career pivots. An identity I didn't recognize. And then one day I realized I'm grateful for all of it.
