She also makes an appointment with the new Lady Danbury, who begins her own journey to power amongst the elite. Meanwhile in present day, the old Queen Charlotte stresses over the succession crisis.

From the intro regency music to to the joyful and informed discussions of all things Austen (& Regency!) I’m really enjoying The Pemberly Podcast. As an Austen/Bridgerton fan I appreciate not only the care the hosts take with the episodes, but their emphasis on the importance of diversifying a very white and implicitly exclusionary space. I especially enjoyed their most recent episode with Bianca Hernandez-Knight. It’s heartening to hear conversations about Austen adaptations and other regency content by fans who are championing and actively pushing for diversity & representation. Keep it up, ladies!

This podcast has been such a lovely and illuminating find! I binged all the episodes over the last few months and it’s so so fun. I loved the original Costume Theater choose your own adventure series! Jillian and Yolanda have great commentary and I’m so glad to get to “watch” these Pemberley shows with them.
