Why Smart, Capable People Fall Apart When All Eyes Are On Them | Victoria Lioznyansky on Public Speaking Fear

Ready to begin your journey of healing? It's time to reclaim your life with elite and discreet premium psychotherapy with Dr. Gregory T. Obert; 👉🏼 www.royaloasispi.com Most people assume public speaking anxiety is a talent problem. Victoria Lioznyansky is living proof that it isn't. In this episode, Dr. Greg sits down with Victoria, founder of Brilliant Speakers Academy and host of the Confidence Within podcast, to talk about one of the most common and least addressed sources of professional anxiety — the fear of being seen when all eyes are on you. Victoria's story starts in the former Soviet Union, runs through a humiliating moment on stage at age ten in front of thousands of people, and lands in corporate America where her fear of speaking was quietly derailing her career. As a software engineer turned manager, she was sneaking out of networking events to avoid saying her own name out loud. She tried every piece of standard advice — practice more, fake it, push through — and none of it worked. What she eventually figured out, and built into a repeatable system, is now the foundation of Brilliant Speakers Academy, where she has helped hundreds of professionals go from dreading presentations to speaking on stages, getting promoted, and showing up with genuine authority in the moments that matter most. A Guided Meditation for Releasing the Emotions You've Been Carrying Too Long

Ready to begin your journey of healing? It's time to reclaim your life with elite and discreet premium psychotherapy with Dr. Gregory T. Obert; 👉🏼 www.royaloasispi.com ------------------------------------------------------ Sometimes the heaviest thing you're carrying doesn't need to be analyzed. It just needs to be released. In this episode, Dr. Greg guides listeners through an original beach visualization designed to help you identify, externalize, and let go of the emotional weight you've been holding onto. Through imagery of a quiet sunset beach, you'll be invited to notice what you're carrying — sadness, guilt, shame, anger — pull it out of your body, and release it in a way that's both simple and surprisingly powerful. The meditation incorporates a brief forgiveness mantra and a visualization of releasing your emotional burdens into the setting sun, leaving space for something lighter — hope, optimism, and a genuine sense of what's possible next. Dr. Greg notes that this practice was inspired in part by the show Bluey, and the core idea is worth holding onto: the emotions that no longer serve you don't have to stay. You can always come back to this beach whenever you need to leave something behind. ------------------------------------------------------ Dr. Obert has spent thousands of hours honing his calling and has decades of real results from real people.  For those wanting more from their mental health providers, Dr. Obert brings the extra amount of knowledge, professionalism, and understanding that others do not.  If you want more beyond these meditations, learn about his private psychotherapy practice at the link below.  Whether you are new to psychotherapy, want to try again, or want a change from your current therapist, you do not want to miss out on this incredible opportunity. Tracy Bonham on Creativity, Mindfulness, and Finding Your Voice After Losing Everything

Ready to begin your journey of healing? It's time to reclaim your life with elite and discreet premium psychotherapy with Dr. Gregory T. Obert; 👉🏼 www.royaloasispi.com What does it look like when an artist loses their career, their marriage, their record deal, and their sense of self — and rebuilds from the inside out? In this episode, Dr. Greg sits down with Tracy Bonham, two-time Grammy nominated singer-songwriter and classically trained multi-instrumentalist best known for her iconic 1996 hit Mother Mother. Nearly three decades into her career, Tracy has just released Sky Too Wide, her first album of all original music in a decade — and the conversation that unfolds is as much about inner transformation as it is about music. Tracy opens up about the trifecta of loss that cracked her open in the early 2000s — her mother's cancer diagnosis, her first divorce, being dropped by her record label, and living through September 11th just across the river in Brooklyn Heights. She talks honestly about the depression that followed, the toxic industry relationships that amplified her self doubt, and how the pressure of following up a gold certified debut almost destroyed her ability to create at all. What pulled her through was a gradual turn inward. Qigong, yoga, gratitude practices, present moment awareness — and eventually a way of writing music that came less from labor and more from a place of genuine stillness. The song Damn the Sky, one of the standout tracks from her new album, fell out of her in a single sitting after a rough parenting day with no one around. She didn't change a word. Dr. Greg and Tracy also get into the psychology of self-limiting narratives, the beginner's mind, Byron Katie's The Work, Florence Scovel Shinn, and why mindfulness doesn't require a mountain or a shaved head — just a few minutes and a willingness to pay attention to what's right in front of you. From Global Creative Director to Tarot Card Reader | Cardsy B on Losing Everything and Finding Herself

Ready to begin your journey of healing? It's time to reclaim your life with elite and discreet premium psychotherapy with Dr. Gregory T. Obert; 👉🏼 www.royaloasispi.com ------------------------------------------------------ What happens when everything you've built, your career, your marriage, your identity, gets pulled out from under you all at once? For Rebecca Szymczak, better known as Cardsy B, that moment became the doorway back to herself. In this episode, Dr. Greg sits down with Rebecca, an intuitive tarot reader, wellness influencer, author of The Saturn Diaries, and the Wellness Witch in Residence at New York City's Algonquin Hotel. Rebecca opens up about the Saturn Return that dismantled her life at 28, losing her position as Global Creative Director at Playboy, her marriage, her savings, and eventually finding herself in a 300 square foot apartment with cockroaches, rats, and $237 in her bank account, while her Instagram still looked like everything was fine. The conversation explores what it means to suppress your intuition to fit in, how spiritual tools like tarot can serve as a doorway back to your own inner guidance system, and why the path back to yourself after an identity collapse doesn't require you to become someone unrecognizable. Rebecca's take, that healing looks different for everyone and there's no single correct path, connects naturally with Greg's own work around mindfulness, self awareness, and finding your way back to regulation after life pulls the rug out. Dr. Building a Safe Space for Men: Russ of The Man Space on Voice, Purpose, and Showing Up

Ready to begin your journey of healing? It's time to reclaim your life with elite and discreet premium psychotherapy with Dr. Gregory T. Obert; 👉🏼 www.royaloasispi.com ------------------------------------------------------ Russ didn't set out to build a media company. He was sitting in church one Sunday when he heard something that told him to do his show — and two days later he was recording his first episode with a gaming headset that clicked every time he moved. That was July 2020. He hasn't missed a week since. In this episode, Dr. Greg sits down with Russ, founder of The Man Space podcast and TMSP Media, to talk about what it actually takes to build something from nothing — and why he built it in the first place. The Man Space was created to give men a place to talk about things they typically don't. Not because they don't feel them, but because nobody ever gave them a room to do it in. Russ opens up about the moment he knew the show was working — a message from a listener who checked himself into detox after hearing one episode — and what that kind of impact does to your sense of purpose when the download numbers are still small. He also gets honest about the mental and logistical weight of building a media company on the side of a full time job, and the practices that helped him stay regulated enough to keep going. This one is for anyone who has ever felt called to build something and wasn't sure if they had what it takes to see it through. Dr.
