Fightcast - Creating fun and original content for stage and screen!

I’ve attempted to listen to a few episodes and the host/s just don’t know anything more than a few superficial details. With podcasts I don’t always expect doctorate level experts but I do expect some depth.

While the host has an engaging persona one cannot get past the fact that at a very basic level he doesn't know enough to discourse on the subject he is addressing. Google is not a substitue for a general grounding on the topics of his podcasts. The result is analysis and conjecture that makes someone who is marginally aware of the subject want to hurl their phone at innocent objects. I worry more about those who are not versed on the subject believing themselves educated from this intermittent nonsense.

I only listened to the one done with Martyrmade, but I can already tell, through the topics covered and David's interests, that I'll be subscribing and listening to everything else he's put out. David and Daryl (of Martyrmade) are both indicative of a new wave in history podcasting that probably started with Dan Carlin's Hardcore History and is still developing and is very exciting. Both of them inspire me to start my own!
