Nehemiah 2:1-8 | Somebody Should Do Something

What do we do when we see something that needs to change? In Nehemiah 2:1–8, we see how Nehemiah responds to the brokenness of Jerusalem with courage, prayer, and preparation. His example challenges us to move beyond concern, take responsibility for the opportunities God places before us, and trust Him with the outcome. Sometimes, the person who needs to do something is us.

God’s Cure for Worry

God’s Cure for Worry | Philippians 4:1–7 Why do we still struggle with worry and anxiety, even when we trust God? In this message from Philippians 4:1–7, Pastor Dave Parsons explores Paul’s instruction to bring our anxieties to God through prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving. Discover how prayer helps us turn our concerns toward God and how His peace guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Rather than promising a life free from trouble, Scripture points us to the peace of God that sustains us in the middle of life’s challenges. When worry begins to take hold, remember to ACT: Acknowledge your anxiety, Commit it to God in prayer, and Thank Him for His faithfulness and care.
