I’m so glad to have finally found a podcast that combines dogs and fruit in a clear and efficient manner! Other podcasts have so much fluff, with annoying ads and long introductions and unnecessary tangents and verbs. The Dog and Fruit Podcast knows what its audience wants, and it delivers only that. I WAS nervous when episode 29 (“Episode 26”) switched to a longer format and introduced ambient sounds, but these changes were handled with such grace and tact that I soon grew to love the series in a whole new way.
I suppose I am fortunate that I found the series after its [apparent?] conclusion, as I was able to experience the narrative in its entirety and didn’t have to burn with anticipation waiting for each week’s new episode. I hope there will be more, but I don’t know how they could follow up such a perfect finale. (Not to spoil anything, but when I heard the climactic line “Cranberries; CRANBERRIES,” I got chills.) Definitely in my top hundred podcasts! Check it out!
